Style Expert and Founder of Lev Jewelers, Adi Vaknin, on Making a Statement in the Miami Fashion Scene

If you’ve ever ventured through South Florida for a statement piece of jewelry, you must have heard of Lev Jewelers and its stylish owner, Adi Vaknin. Inspired by the fashion and style of Miami’s latest trends, the brand caters to designing and manufacturing one-of-a-kind pieces for any occasion. Alongside world-class customer service and around-the-clock availability, Adi and her team dedicate their time to bringing client ideas to life.

Launching her brand in April of this year, the idea for Lev Jewelers, a high-end retail jewelry and watch store, came to fruition with Adi’s passion for both fashion and jewelry. She was inspired to join the concepts together with unique and desirable pieces that have never been created. “I often see jewelry that I like, but rarely ones that I truly love. So, designing my own pieces was something I knew I had to pursue,” she shares. The aesthetic style for the designs she creates and the brands she brings into her store will appeal to many.  Adi adds, “I don’t think anybody has ever said no to diamonds and watches! Jewelry and high-end watches are things that I love, and they truly speak to me and many others in the world.”

The idea for opening a store and launching her own brand was already in the works, when an impactful client interaction really breathed the life needed for the project. “I flew to Israel to surprise my mother on her birthday and met with a client. During our meeting, he asked if I was married, to which I said yes, for three years. He also asked if my husband and I had children, and I said no, but we wanted to. He passed along the name of a doctor who did miracles for him and his wife. I met the doctor who asked about my plans to come back to Israel. I told him I would be back in a few months for the Jewish holidays. He then told me to give myself two months when coming for the trip. I replied, okay, came to Israel, and flew back pregnant. My son’s name is Lev, and the name of the store is Lev Jewelers, so that is probably the biggest and most impactful story,” she shares. Adi’s journey to launch her brand was on the right path and moments like this inspired her to continue on her mission of bringing beautiful jewelry and watches to her clients.

To keep ahead of the curve, Adi uses innovative technology to help design and sell products to bring these pieces to life. “We sell our products online, using e-commerce and social media marketing. We also work on products via technology. We use a CAD machine that makes models for products to see virtually before casting into wax and then gold. We also use CAD designs that begin from regular sketches when working with other companies. If customers want something from scratch or see something they like, we make a CAD model for them to give a visual aspect of what their product would look like before they give the okay to make it.”

Always passionate about customer satisfaction, Adi takes pride in the many standout points that sets Lev Jewelers apart from other stores. “Customer service is the number one characteristic of our store. It’s something that sets us apart from every competitor, whether it’s being consistently available through social media or text messages. We do everything from the bottom of our hearts. Sometimes customers want to come in, browse our new pieces, tell us about recent purchases, or just chitchat. They’re not necessarily coming in to buy anything, but my team and I are there for whatever they need. Giving our consumers a truly stellar customer service experience is a lost art form in the jewelry industry and we pride ourselves on proving this,” she shares. Adi and her team don’t just make people look good, but they do whatever it takes to also make them feel good.

Using rewarding experiences of satisfied customers, Adi applies this inspiration to grow Lev Jewelers with exciting plans to come. “Our goals are to grow our e-commerce, make sure all our products are readily available online for customers to order, and open another retail location,” she shares. Lev Jewelers’ future shines bright, much like the beautiful jewelry and watches they carry in the store, and the smiles they share when you walk through the door.
