Often referred to as Honey Trap Sensation, Aritra was born to shimmer! He comes from a music influenced family who has given rise to his music initials. He started his journey from a very young age and is considered to be inherited from the 4th generation musician. He is a mom built child, as he started training under her which merely defines his musical prowess. His mother is a known classical singer. The singer started learning keyboard when he was just ten and gradually made headway to win various competitions. He strongly believes in his power of composition as being exposed to a large variety of music at an early age has made him vocally booming. Being naturally gifted, he has always been able to bring out the best of everything as time progressed. His vision resonates with both his audiences and the tastemakers alike. During his adolescence, he started learning Sitar at Saptak Academy, one of India’s greatest classical music schools. At the age of 16, Aritra established Inertia, an experimental instrumental assembly that involves his friend where he collaborated with various local artists and was introduced to the art of music production. In 2019, he founded Shattered Law, a progressive metal band based out of Bhubaneswar back in his college days and went on to win various college-level fests in the subsequent year. Over the years of winning, he got critically acclaimed by the likes of Angel Vivaldi, this artist is sure to be someone to be looked upon.
Despite the fact that he is armed with a dedicated, ever growing and raucous fan base in social media, Aritra has survived tough times by building resilience. A powerhouse of talent, who admits to the considerable newness in the RnB scene, he is a singer and song producer who has a range in music repertoire and an impeccable understanding of his audience’s emotions. Ever since he launched his debut EP, Distorted thoughts, an amalgamation of four songs that are a real-life narration of events as experienced by the singer himself. Honey Trap, one of the four songs is a pivotal juncture that marks Aritra’s ascent to fame, was featured on one of Argentina’s biggest radio stations, M90 Radio and toppled 150K Streams in real-time during the premiere. It has also scored numerous radios and Spotify hits.This track is a self-description of stratagem whereby an attractive person entices another person into revealing information or doing something unwise. As written from a negative perspective, it speaks about the struggles and practices the character goes through and meets an unfortunate end, serving justice. His latest single, So Long is another hit right after his big success and he is now heading towards releasing two new tracks featuring Vasudev and Shaikhspeare, which is in the pipeline for the end of the year.
