The Shelbi Spicer Story: How a Busy Mom of Two Made it in the Financial Industry

Becoming an entrepreneur in any industry can be difficult, but also managing both your own business and family life at the same time is even more challenging. Shelbi Spicer has learned how to become successful in the financial industry while juggling her family, and she wants to help other ambitious entrepreneurs do the same. If you’re curious about how you can manage your business and family, keep reading to learn about her journey.

An introduction

As a business and money coach, mother of two boys, and business partner, family comes first for Shelbi Spicer. She has worked in the financial industry for seven years as a licensed financial professional, teaching others how to succeed in their business while holding her financial license. In fact, she was one of the youngest employees in her office in the beginning, only 22 years old at the time. Despite her young age, they gave her their broker’s position after less than a year, a testament to how dedicated she is helping others. Since those early days, Shelbi has started her own business in Los Angeles, CA!

An entrepreneur’s journey

Being an entrepreneur is hard work, but it’s also rewarding. “I’m my own boss, and I’ve built my own business from the ground up, ” Shelbi says proudly. However, there have been challenges along the way where she almost lost everything. With a lack of income and plummeting credit, she lost her car and couldn’t afford to stay in her own apartment, so she moved to her mother’s house. Because of these hardships, Shelbi has found a passion in helping other women who are also trying to break out of this cycle. Ultimately, this interest in financial literacy helped her find success and create her own business.

Her advice for other moms

In Shelbi’s own words, “If you’re considering getting into the financial industry or starting your own business, go for it! Spending time with my children and providing them with the lifestyle they deserve has been a blessing. In addition, sharing the knowledge I have acquired over the years has helped me immensely on my life journey, and it makes me feel so fulfilled to be able to share it with others.”
