Why should you use the free TeamViewer alternatives?

Like AnyDesk, TeamViewer used to be the best and most popular remote desktop software in the world. However, in recent years, TeamViewer has gradually revealed the disadvantages that make many users feel uncomfortable and annoying. Read this article to discover more best free TeamViewer alternatives.

3 Reasons to Use Free TeamViewer Alternative

As one of the pioneering software in the field of remote desktop control, TeamViewer has quickly become the first choice of computer users in many countries around the world.

Like AnyDesk, TeamViewer allows you to connect and access between two or more computers with the purpose of helping you control other computers remotely, exchanging and sharing data with each other. Thanks to TeamViewer software, users can easily share screens or create online conferences on computers via the Internet. You only have to enter your partner ID & password into TeamViewer and the connection will be established immediately.

However, because of various reasons, more and more users stopped using TeamViewer and looked for free alternatives to teamviewer. Here are the most common causes:

Commercial use suspected

TeamViewer has a policy that allows personal use for free. However, it is not always like that. A lot of TeamViewer customers around the world have complained that they regularly receive warnings “Alert: Our system has detected commercial use of TeamViewer software by you or your connection partner.

Many people think that the above warning is unreasonable when they are still using TeamViewer normally for personal purposes. However, it is very difficult for them to argue or complain to TeamViewer’s support team. As a result, users may be disconnected suddenly, be limited the number of sessions, or they have to wait a period of time (about 15 minutes) to be able to access again but they may continue to be interrupted at any time. This causes a lot of trouble and raises suspicion that TeamViewer has created invisible pressure to force users to buy a license package. And this is an important reason why countless users abandon TeamViewer and look for a free teamviewer alternative.

The license price is too high and difficult to pay

The cheapest individual license package that TeamViewer offers is $298.8/year/person. However, this license package only allows connecting to three computers that the user specified earlier, so it is not really suitable for customer support.

To have unlimited connections to other computers, you need to buy the TeamViewer Business License plan ($610.8/year). With double the payout, you can support more guests. Although allowing unlimited connections to devices, TeamViewer restricts the number of connected devices to only three specified devices. Besides, this price is too high and difficult to pay for individual users. Therefore, they are forced to look for free alternatives to teamviewer due to the inability to pay the expensive license fees.

In addition to individual options, businesses can refer to group packages such as License TeamViewer Premium ($1234.8/year) and License TeamViewer Corporate ($2483.8/year). The Premium version allows 15 users, but only allows one person to use the software to access and control the computer remotely at the same time. This seems pointless when you buy a group version but only one person can support the customer while the rest are disabled.

To overcome this problem, you have a Corporate version that allows you to connect with 30 users but is still limited to only 3 users at a time. That means your remaining 27 employees won’t be able to support customers and will need to wait their turn to use TeamViewer alternately. We believe that this harsh policy of TeamViewer is causing a great waste of money and resources, especially for small businesses that are being hit hard by COVID-19.

Let’s imagine if your company has a medium size of 50-100 employees that need to support customers regularly at a time. How will the cost be big to use License TeamViewer? You will probably need to buy 20 – 30 TeamViewer Corporate Licenses that cost tens of thousands of dollars per year. And that’s when you decide to look for a free TeamViewer alternative or more affordable solution.

Accessible and unfair auto-renewal terms

TeamViewer implements auto-renewal terms and they will only send you 1 renewal notification via email before the due date. If you want to cancel the renewal, you must notify TeamViewer 28 days before the renewal.

Many customers who bought the TeamViewer license said that it is difficult for them to cancel the renewal. When you find out that the money has been deducted from your account and the renewal is done automatically, you cannot stop or reverse this process. Even if you cancel immediately on the renewal date or 15 days in advance, they will charge you for the whole year. No excuses and exceptions are approved by TeamViewer. Customer complaints are rarely resolved by TeamViewer’s team, making many people feel forced to use the product and further lose faith in this software technology company.

From a personal point of view, we think that TeamViewer’s auto-renewal policy and cancellation policy are quite opaque and cause many disadvantages for users. The lack of any notification of the customer’s upcoming renewal means that the customer is completely unannounced to cancel the renewal if they want. This is one reason why so many users decide to stop using TeamViewer in search of a free alternative to TeamViewer.

UltraViewer – The Best Free TeamViewer Alternative

Ultraviewer is one of the increasingly popular remote desktop software in the world nowadays. In recent years, Ultraviewer has gradually become the best alternative to Teamviewer which is favored by users thanks to its outstanding advantages.

It is completely free to use

UltraViewer allows all users to use their software for free. This is probably the most completely free remote desktop software in the true sense of free use. Whether you are an individual or a business, and you use it for personal or commercial purposes, UltraViewer is allowed and without any limitations.

It allows unlimited connection to devices, no time limit as well as the purpose of use. There is no notification of doubt about the purpose of use, no notice asking to buy a license. And you always have free UltraViewer without sudden disconnection.

Some free UltraViewer features:

– Support instant and remote computer access and control.

– Connect with fast and stable speed

– Unlimited number of computers allowed to control at a time

– Share files easily and securely

– Smart and professional chat feature.

– Interface is friendly and easy to use

– High security makes the control process safe and transparent.

In addition to the free version, if you want to use advanced features, you can buy a license of UltraViewer at a fairly cheap price from only $47.88 – $95.88/year/person

Renewal transparency

Unlike TeamViewer’s auto-renewal terms, UltraViewer gives customers full control over whether or not to continue using this software.

Before the license renewal period expires, UltraViewer will send an email notifying you of the expiration date of the current license package. If you have a need to continue using the software, you will make payment according to the instructions in the email. If you don’t want to continue using it, you just need to ignore that email without needing to cancel the renewal or notify UltraViewer anything. As a result, you’ll never have your auto-renewal deducted or get caught up in unnecessary disputes and complaints.

Thus, we have just introduced to you 3 reasons you should cancel TeamViewer and use the free TeamViewer alternative. Hopefully, you will choose the right remote desktop software to support your work.
