Entrepreneurship

A Day in the Life of the Sisters and Girl Bosses Behind Beauty Salon and Brand: MagniSkin

MagniSkin

Entrepreneurship can be an exceptionally rewarding venture.  This rings true for girl bosses and sisters, Pinar and Songul, who together, have established a beauty business known as MagniSkin.  As of 2019, the establishment has provided services for a variety of clientele all of which have sought out the magic touch of the sisters who are truly passionate about what they do.  However, like any business venture, success is not born overnight.  The sisters are a true testament of hard work paid off and continuing to pay off.  A day in the life of Pinar and Songul is an exceptionally busy one.

All Work Matters

There is sometimes a misconception that being one’s own boss means working less and more pay.  However, the sisters are quick to correct, “we work 24/7 thinking of new ideas and helping support our brand, making our dreams into a reality.”  In other words, the work never stops.  However, it has not been done in vain.  All the input the sisters have put in with MagniSkin has led to major gains making the establishment a sought out destination for beauty treatments.

A Day in the Life

MagniSkin’s hours run between 10 in the morning to 8 at night.  This means that each day starts relatively early.  In order to start each day with a fresh start, the sisters opt for a cold shower.  Although the concept maay sound daunting in contrast to a cozy, warm shower, the benefits behind the colder temperature extend farther than just a good wakeup call.  “Wash your face with cold water to stimulate blood flow and tighten the skin,” the sisters chimed in upon being interviewed about their key beauty tips.  The cold shower is just the beginning of prepping their skin for the day.  The sisters make sure to follow up the cold shower with a regimen that includes cleansing, toning, and applying a good source of SPF to guard against the sun’s damaging rays.  Afterwards, the sisters apply their makeup look for the day.  Wrapping up their preparation routine comes hair care.  The sisters use their holy grail product, the Dyson Air Wrap, to give their hair a luscious look and feel.  Just as they aim to help their clients feel the best and most empowered versions of themselves through their salon treatments, the same principle applies to the sisters themselves.  By dedicating that time each morning to make them feel their best, they feel most prepared by the time they clock into their salon, MagniSkin.

Breaking it Down

A day for the sisters at the MagniSkin salon is busy all day long administering beauty treatments through the likes of various up to date technologies.  Some treatments include facials, hydra facials, non-surgical Brazilian booty lifts and tummy tucks, laser hair removal, and so much more.  When the sisters aren’t busy interacting with clients, they are busy replenishing their bodies with water and fruits as the ultimate skin booster by keeping their bodies and skin hydrated and nourished through the inside out.  The sisters also use their breaks to further promote their business through social media.

After a long day at the salon, the sisters wind down over dinner, tea, and face masks. They aim to be in bed before the ten o’clock mark because as they say, “it is good for our body, mind and aids in certifying we are prepared for the new day ahead.”  That’s what it is ultimately about to keep MagniSkin as successful as it has evidently been — to follow up each day with a readiness for the next.  To keep up with Pinar and Songul and their business, MagniSkin, follow their Instagram and check out their website.
