A Talk With Maxime Hinnekens on What it Takes to be a Successful Businessman in 2020

Why you need to read his story? Maxime Hinnekens is a young entrepreneur who manages three companies at a very young of 22. With specific academic background and with a lot of hard work, he made six figures profit on a single option trade during this pandemic.

Maxime was raised in Belgium but at 18 he traveled abroad to expand his network, knowledge, and opportunities. Moreover, his determination is to use disruptive ideas to help create the world of tomorrow. He studied at a private university in The Hague. Now, he has two bachelor degrees in International Business Management and International Financial Management. Now, he lives in three countries, Belgium, The Netherlands, and Spain. 

Work hard and be open to new opportunities

During his student years, Maxime understood the importance of creating a network and make connections with the right people. He attended numerous conferences focused on crypto and he works towards a good reputation in the industry. 

When he was 18 his ideas and mindset were remarked by the ex-co-president candidate of Iceland, Thor Magnusson. Thor asked Maxime if he would like to help him to design a blockchain project for his real estate company. Maxime Hinnekens happily accepted this opportunity and as a result, another huge chance will follow. Juan Antonio offered him to help co-found IBERIAN and to run the business development which he happily accepted.

We had the opportunity to hear more from Maxime about his strategy and why he decided to work for Iberian. 

After getting more recognized in the DLT industry for my work and ideas I was offered to help create IBERIAN. As IBERIAN works closely with the big players in this particular industry, I decided to start climbing up the ladder with IBERIAN. I am responsible to aid in the research and development of the solution we are trying to create. On top of that, I network and establish beneficial long-term relationships with private banks, regulators, and other DLT companies. On the side, I also help with the financial strategy and planning.

After this, he is the one who gets invited to various conferences for free. 

Transform ideas into actions

New opportunities are at his door all the time and Maxime does not hesitate to try and see if they are the root of a huge success or a lesson. He is never afraid to try new ideas and giving up was not an option for him. No matter how difficult the journey is, Maxime is extremely determined to work hard and achieve his goals. His way of becoming successful? 

Not being afraid to approach people and to go “all in” on something.

Like all of us, Maxime Hinnekens has a person who inspires and motivates him all the time. Who is this person and why his accomplishments are so important?

Elon Musk. He always got through his ups and downs and he has never given up regardless of what others say. He managed to achieve anything human could ever achieve and then still challenges himself with even crazier projects such as going to Mars.
