Ameya Kajarekar’s Salaam Hindustan Being an Ultimate Patriotic Rap

As Hindustan recovers from the second phase of Covid-19 we salute all the doctors, janitors, police force, government authorities and each individual who has been responsible and taken efforts to curb the pandemic. Ameya’s rap “Salaam Hindustan” which was released on 15th August stills proves relevant and conventional as the patriotic essence is aroused.

Salaam Hindustan featured several celebrities reciting the lines of the rap written by Ameya. This was Ameya’s dream project to write rap which manifests the feeling of true patriotism in each Indian. We asked Ameya what is true patriotism, Ameya answers seems truly noteworthy; “True patriotism is being true towards your country and its people.

Supporting and Respecting each other is the best way to support and respect your country. Patriotism lies in Unity.” Dignity and support amongst the citizens are the crucial entities for any nation to fare well.
“What are the few things that an Indian should incorporate for Better India” to which Ameya answers, “Stop cribbing about everything. Things do go wrong but rather than stating a problem come up with a possible solution.Stand against injustice and raise your voice if you know about anything wrong happening around you. Speak for the poor and weaker sections of the society. If you are doing something for someone, do it with a selfless feeling, do not have a give and take policy always.”

Ameya is not someone who loves or enjoys limelight inherently. Being skilled into his artform, he loves to pull other artists up while he remains behind the scenes. Ameya eventually started rapping as a hobby and has now grown into a Rapper who strikes a great equation with his artform and professional work.

We are bamboozled and are querious to know how he balances his professional life being an IT expert and art career. Ameya says, “ You need to understand that passion does not always pay your bills. So a job is and will always be a priority. If you are loyal towards your passion you tend to make time for everything. Also I strongly feel that if you are empty stomach or broke your art will not improve but rather it will start vanishing from your life. I know many people who were full time passion followers but eventually gave up everything and took a job to survive”.

Ameya seeks his motivation from the fact that he has the audacity and strength to put out whatever he feels in words. Ameya is now looking forward to soon releasing his latest rap song which revolves around ‘Mumbai City’ post lockdown.

Ameya’s answers must have surely impacted your mind and we seek more such talented artists to perform, entertain us who have a sense of responsibility towards the country.
