Angelus Direct Paints The Pages of Magazines with One-of-a-Kind Collabs!

Angelus Direct disrupts the conventional norms of the art world by bringing its unique colors to its more unconventional canvas: sneakers!
Angelus paints have graced the covers of countless magazines with many notable and influential figures, most recently collaborating with Luisito Communica, a massive Latin influencer in the world of food and travel with over 31 million followers across the globe.
Angelus partnered up with sneaker artist, Swell Guy Customs, to create a truly brilliant and imaginative take on “Gran Malo,” Luisito Communica’s spicy, tamarind flavored tequila brand, along with inspiration from his Japanese-influenced restaurants located in Mexico City.
The bright colors and imagination used to create this piece which can be seen featured in the L’Officiel Arabia magazine spread are as fun and exciting as Angelus Direct.
Angelus is a top-tier American paint company which has been around for over a century with its inception dating back to 1907. For its company and paints to stand the test of time, Angelus Direct is consistently finding new and creative ways to innovate. They continuously test the quality and resistance of their paints by putting them through rigorous testing methods.
Their ingenuity has given way to new art, and a rise of creatives by showing us how anything can become an art canvas. Every piece and color crafted into a design becomes an original and covetable collector’s item, much like a Warhol or a Picasso, in its own right.
Angelus Direct has even pioneered a new way to use their paints when partnering with the famous shaving cream company, Barbasol. This Angelus x Barbasol Limited Edition Dye Set came from an idea of long-time collaborator and artist Jake Polino who used shaving cream on his sneakers back in his early days. When Angelus and Barbasol joined up for this spectacular collaboration, artist Jonathan Miller, who has a daughter with disabilities, could not be more excited to try it out. His artwork is usually so precise he is unable to share that with his daughter, but, with the Angelus x Barbasol Dye Kit, it is extremely easy to have a fun bonding memory with your children, friends, or relatives who may have a disability. It is a simple dip-and-dye process using the shaving cream foam and Angelus paints that creates a magical experience for anyone.
Now Miller’s working with a foundation where Angelus will send fifty kits to fifty families with children who have disabilities so they can also share that experience with their loved ones.
With so many inspiring and unique collaborations in the pipeline, Angelus Direct is a company that will continue to stir things up, with or without a paint brush!
