Celebrity Beauty Brand ´Emily Alexandra Cosmetics´ Focusing On International Expansion

Ever since she was a young girl, Emily Alexandra was always attracted to the camera, her family would record endless home movies starring the bright and naturally charismatic child that would grow up to become one of the most successful female entrepreneurs of her generation.

As a professional model, Ms. Guglielmo has been featured on the covers of high profile international publications, while also overseeing all creative and operational activities for Emily Alexandra Cosmetics, her successful beauty brand which has been named “the new standard in consumer beauty products” by The Luxury Lifestyle Magazine.

But Emily´s achievements are not exclusive to fashion, entertainment and business – as a passionate ocean lover and professional mermaid – Emily also believes in the power of assertive action and selfless philanthropy.

Her non profit “Supporting Water” has already effected the lives of numerous vulnerable citizens in third world countries, where access to clean drinking water is an everyday struggle; Through her cosmetics brand and additional efforts she has been able to inspire others to give back and help those who need it the most.

Recently, the young entrepreneur announced an ambitious international expansion plan, which will effectively allow consumers outside the United States to finally get their hands on the brand´s highly coveted beauty and personal care products for the first time.

During a recent interview with Disrupt Magazine, Emily Alexandra shared some of the upcoming plans and projects she has for her cosmetics label:

  1. Why did you choose Mexico as the first international market for your brand’s expansion?

A distributor reached out to me about getting Emily Alexandra Cosmetics into Mexico since they have already done mass distribution for cosmetics and other products in the past and have extensive experience!

Once we get into Mexico, then other countries will hopefully follow suit.
An extra bonus is that this will allow me to push myself to learn Spanish fluently as my second language! I’m also learning American Sign Language as well.

  2. Which are your best selling products?

Our most popular products are the Sunkissed Pearl Drops, lipsticks, and the foundation. All the products have ocean-safe SPF in them and they last all day in the heat, and water! The components of the ocean-safe SPF are lavender and cocoa butter.

    3. How has your product line evolved over time?

I have tweaked the formula and packaging a couple times and I´m very pleased with the newest edition! The newer formulas are much more moisturizing, long-lasting and smell so good! You don’t get that potent sunscreen smell, it smells clean and light.

    4. After you launch Emily Alexandra Cosmetics in Mexico, are you looking at other international markets?

Absolutely! We are already looking at Panama, Nicaragua, Europe, and Africa!

We can’t wait! These next three years will bring growth for Emily Alexandra Cosmetics, me as The American Mermaid, and SupportingWater.org – Everything ties together and connects.

    5. We know your products have several distinctions such as being ocean-friendly, waterproof and cruelty free. What can you tell us about this?

Yes ! All the products are water-resistant , sweat-resistant, vegan, cruelty-free, ocean-safe , hypoallergenic and dries matte , but still moisturizing!
