Chicago Artist M3LO Capone On The Rise

Artist M3LO Capone is busy focusing on promoting his latest single “Vindictive,” while his new mixtape is in the works. The Chicago native has been creating music since the age of 14, using apps to create and record over beats and finding a passion with his own creations. He recorded his first song while he was on the bus for a class trip and has since invested in his passion and craft. Capone prides himself on his ability to be versatile in his music as well as his authenticity. He writes all of his music and even has a personal engineer who he collaborates with on his tracks. When it comes to inspiration, Capone finds himself inspired by Hip hop artist Lil Baby, noting that Lil Baby has become a superstar in the music scene who has grown up in similar conditions as Capone, and still achieved great success through hard work and unwavering dedication.

Growing up in Chicago was a difficult challenge for Capone, often witnessing senseless violence and unfortunately experiencing the pain of loss at a very young age. Having to view life as a competition to survive, Capone decided to take matters into his own hands the best way he could: through music and hustle. “I’m a broken soul trying to stay positive with this music and show everyone no matter what your circumstances are, you can still win. The odds were against me the minute I was born given my environment and skin color. It took me making the right decisions and putting in the hard work to prove the statistics wrong and make it happen for me and my family. My music gives people a step into my crazy life and hopefully motivation to better theirs. It’s always that next level.” It is very important to Capone to be a voice for positive progress within his community as well as around the world. He wants his audience to understand the importance of perseverance and consistency in their goals. He reminds his audience that they should focus on the qualities in life that have positive impacts on their mental state, which aids in keeping motivation alive while proceeding towards their goals. “Nothing is impossible: if there is a will, there’s a way. Always go in a direction that provides you and your family with growth mentally and financially.”

As for what is next for Capone, he is focusing on promoting his latest single “Vindictive.”  Aiming to build a larger fanbase, Capone plans to release more music videos in the near future ahead of the release of his newest mixtape, “All Gas, No Breaks.” M3LO Capone’s latest single “Vindictive,” and all of his previous work, is available across all streaming platforms.
