Meet Danny Monzon
Danny Monzon started DM Digital four years ago to help clients with customer retention strategies. He is renowned for building tailor-made loyalty programs designed to improve customer lifetime value, increase average order value, and reduce the cost per acquisition of new customers.
One of the best pieces of advice Danny has ever received is, “If you don’t do it, someone else will. So it may as well be you.” He started his journey in marketing in 1999, although he didn’t have a college degree in marketing. In fact, he had been kicked out of high school twice. He started his not-so-illustrious journey in marketing by handing out invitation flyers in the streets of Manhattan to non-interested passers-by. “I was literally spamming people with unsolicited invitations to some of the most infamous night clubs which ended up being tossed in the streets,” says Danny.
New beginnings into the online digital marketing space
Danny initially started his career in the thick of the NYC nightlife, a career he admits had perks. However, he didn’t last too long passing out flyers in the freezing cold winter. After four years, he had made a name for himself in the party scene and mingled with celebrities, models, and the occasional pro athlete at exclusive joints in the big apple. Danny says the nightlife came at a price, as living in the fast lane resulted in him neglecting his daytime responsibilities, relationships, and emotional well-being.
Danny then decided to relocate to Florida, where he has been living for the past 17 years. It was in Florida where DM Digital was born.
