Sweet Limb Will Be Dropping A New Studio EP in January: “The Dope EP”

A winning combination of hip-hop and R&B with an old-school flair.

Sweet Limb is the moniker of singer and songwriter Chris Robinson. His music is notable due to the artist’s impeccable ability to try new ideas and load his songs with innovation, fun, and energy. His most recent release, “The Dope EP”, stays true to this unique and exciting combination of creative and musical values.

Sweet Limb’s music is highly recommended to fans of artists such as Frank Ocean, The Weeknd and Childish Gambino, among others. What makes this EP particularly remarkable and special is the fact that Chris actually embraced a DIY approach to this release. This allowed him to take control over his artistry and painstakingly curate every aspect of this release. The passion is palpable, and the energy of the songs is truly unmistakable. The melodic twist of R&B encounters the gritty edge of hip-hop on the EP, making the sound feel quite energetic, but also incredibly spontaneous and easy to rate to. The production is very organic, yet there is a lot of attention to detail in the music, enabling the audience to form a genuine connection with the material and the artist.

The sound of “The Dope EP” features the right balance of old school rap intensity and R&B appeal, going for a truly dynamic and surprising sound that will keep the audience on the edge of the seat throughout the duration of the release. All in all, this new studio work is a milestone for Sweet Limb, who went to great lengths to show the world what he’s all about. This release comes highly recommended to fans of artists as diverse as A Tribe Called Quest, Frank Ocean, Stevie Wonder, Prince or even Radiohead, only to mention but a few. Sweet Limb’s music is just as diverse and one-of-a-kind as his eclectic taste, and the audience will certainly appreciate the huge range of influences making this release so special and one-of-a-kind.

Find out more about Sweet Limb, and listen to “The Dope EP”, will be available on some of the best digital music streaming services on the web starting 1.2.23.
