Ella O’Riordan – How I Left the Rat Race to Build a Successful Coaching Business

They say that the best businesses are born from a gap in the market or a problem with no obvious solution. For Ella O’Riordan, her business lies in helping other businesses find just that: their niche, their offer, and an effective way to sell it. After all, in the 2021 business market, standing out has never been more challenging.

Ella O’Riordan (@divinely_bossy) is a Business & Mindset Coach and the founder of Divinely Bossy, working with coaches to finetune and sell their high ticket offers to the right clients in the right spaces. But Ella’s business wasn’t always in helping others. In fact, just 18 months ago it was Ella herself who lacked the very clarity in her business that she now promotes to all her clients.

THEN

If you’ve ever been stuck in a corporate job, well-paid but one that leaves you feeling deeply unfulfilled, then you know where this story starts.

Working in a windowless basement office, with her dissatisfaction at work spilling into her personal life and leaving her feeling stressed and unhappy, Ella knew something had to change. But, like many aspiring entrepreneurs, she initially doubted herself for a while in taking the step into the unknown world of being her own boss.

Having moved to London from NY just a couple of years prior, Ella’s biggest struggle came from lacking a support network, so when the pandemic hit in early 2020 and priorities changed, that’s exactly what she built her business on.

Finding a supportive community and hiring a business coach to help her elevate her business and identify exactly where she could sit in the market, Ella knew that her dream business could be built from the very struggles that had held her back for so long.

NOW

Now happily married, living in Costa Brava in Spain, and expecting a baby, Ella’s business is a huge success.

Why? Because her entire business model has been built on the foundation of Ella’s own experience – and her target client is the very person she was just 18 months ago.

Divinely Bossy works with clients, helping them package their services in a way that differentiates them in the marketplace and helps them stand out in the industry by being more visible to the right audience.

Having struggled with not being seen in this rapidly growing industry at the start of her journey as a coach, she understands the importance of positioning yourself as an expert that highlights your strengths and uniqueness.

Ella uses her own experiences to support others by tapping into her prior experience and utilizing a blended approach to clarity, visibility and sales and mindset.

Ella has just launched her high-level transformational group program – Divinely Visible Academy. The aim of this program is to continue to support and empower women to apply sales & visibility strategies on social media, combined with mindset tools, to grow and nurture their online businesses while also achieving their personal fulfillment and goals.

For Ella, business has given her the lifestyle she always wanted. For her it’s more than a business, it’s a life of freedom, fulfillment and impact – and that’s something that Ella wants women everywhere to enjoy.

Ready to quit your 9-5 and build a coaching business of your dreams and turn it into the lifestyle you always wanted?
