Facebook Ads Tips: 7 Ways to Get More ROI from your Ads

If you’re new to Facebook Ads or if you’ve been running Facebook campaigns for years, it’s always helpful to get some Facebook ad tips. Facebook ads have changed a lot in the past few years and there are many different strategies that can help increase your ROI on Facebook advertising. Here are 7 Facebook ads tips that will help you find success with your next Facebook campaign.

1. Accompany Ads with Landing Pages

Facebook ads will place your call-to-action right in front of a potential customer. To help convert these visitors, Facebook recommends that you have a landing page for each ad campaign and use the Facebook Pixel to track conversions on channels outside Facebook.

2. Retarget Your Contest Entrants on Facebook

Facebook ads can be used to promote a contest or sweepstakes and are typically run as an ad that asks people for their email address. Facebook recommends retargeting these entrants with Facebook Ads by running the same campaign targeting these customers, but this time offers them something of value instead of asking again for their email.

3. Ask the Right Questions Before Planning your Facebook Ad Budget

Facebook ads are a great way to reach potential customers, but Facebook recommends asking the right questions before planning your Facebook ad budget. When creating Facebook Ads campaigns, consider what you’re trying to achieve with the campaign and then ask yourself these two key questions:

What is my marketing objective?

How much am I willing to spend on this Facebook Ad Campaign?

4. Increase your Prices

Facebook ads suggest increasing your prices to take advantage of higher conversion rates. Facebook recommends testing a pricing tier that is at least 25% more than the lowest price and see if you can’t increase conversions by at least 20%.

5. Use High Quality Ad Design

Facebook ads are a great way to grow your business, but Facebook recommends that you use high quality ad design. Facebook gives these recommendations for designing Facebook ads:

  • Use the complete width of the feed with visuals on both sides
  • Include graphics and videos in your post (with captions)
  • Make sure it is easy to understand what’s being sold by including descriptions or tags near text/images about price, availability, shipping details etc.

 6. Spice up your Ads with Emojis

Facebook ads can be enhanced with the addition of emojis. Facebook suggests testing different emoji placements in your ad design to see which ones draw more attention or conversely, get eliminated because they don’t perform as well as others.

7. Don’t Give Up Too Early

Facebook ads are a great tool for growing your business, but Facebook recommends that you don’t give up too early. Facebook says “It takes time to see any progress with Facebook Ads.”
