Family Builds Successful Business With Zoom: A Meta Talkz With the 3Cs Productions Co-owners: Clarissa Moses; Chris Moses; Krystal Moses; Caron Washington

3C’s Productions is a Black-owned and 50% women-operated business. In just a year and a half during the COVID-19 pandemic, the 3C’s Productions team created a sustainable business and a unique solution for virtual entertainment. We have hosted over 200 virtual events on Zoom and grossed over $100K in revenue solely through word-of-mouth marketing. In addition to building a business during the global pandemic, all of the owners have excelled in our full-time careers in education, health, diversity, equity & inclusion, and financial services receiving promotions and even new job offers.

What was your journey like to get where you are?

Our journey has just started and we have so much more to Lion forward to. The best part of the journey has been working together as a family and helping others come together during the pandemic.

We have all balanced full-time careers while building this business, therefore, there have been challenges in time management and figuring out what to put first. However, it is been a fruitful and amazing journey.

In a simpler phrase, what is your company exactly doing?

We host virtual events using a unique mix of music, games, and hosting to help bring people together while apart.

What about Metaverse are you most excited for in the future?

We are excited that we can connect with millions of people around the world. These people would be able to enjoy our entertainment services as they enjoy games and music. We love people and bring people joy. The metaverse allows us to interact with people from all over the world and connect with new people.

Why should we be paying attention to the Metaverse?

Metaverse is the next big thing and we see it as the future of entertainment. Imagine dancing, having a drink, socializing with friends all from the comfort of your home. While the world becomes even more disconnected this creates an opportunity to maintain that connection. Some see the metaverse as a medium that will further pull us apart but we see it as something that can pull us together because space and time become limitless. This can be a whole new way to show the Productions skills of 3csproductions. Our goal is to create experiences and bring people together; the metaverse presents a new way to do just that.
