From 3 Jobs To Self Employed In 2.5 Years; Meet Kyle Eaton

I recently interviewed an online business owner and social media influencer, Kyle Eaton. His energy and motivation are evident both physically and psychologically. I could feel it. It was the contagious kind of energy that makes you energetic and lively just by being in the same room.


Kyle is a result-driven individual who is always yearning to get the best out of himself, and those around him. Having moved from a small town in southern Kentucky to Nashville, and then LA, and spreading his business to NYC, Miami, and international levels, he started what he thought was a hobby- that 4 years later turned into an ever-growing company. 


Over the last 4 years, he has been expanding his Instagram business exponentially. The first 2 years were difficult and yielded very little profit, but once he got over that hump, everything changed. His business took off and he was able to quit his 3 jobs one at a time until eventually he was entirely self employed. His success can be directly correlated to making his clients a priority, proven by his large and growing clientele. In 2.5 years, he has serviced hundreds of clients and his company is still growing. Even so, he is no stranger to rejection and adversity, but instead of letting the speed bumps deter him, he uses it as a motivator for his business and helping his clients in the best way possible. 


“The failures I’ve had along the way, whether it be general business practice or a client that didn’t work out, have taught me how to build a better business that can better serve my clients,” he says.


Getting In Front of As Many Eyeballs As Possible 


Kyle helps businesses and public figures build their brand by driving as much traffic as possible to their social media pages. He does this with a few different methods that all focus on social proof, targeted followings, and massive growth to help clients leverage their following to accomplish their own goals. 


“We accomplish this by building social proof on social media platforms so that the client can leverage that for their business or goals,” Kyle says.


Company Daily Operations


The company specializes in Instagram growth, PR consulting and teaching best practices so that people can effectively use social media to build a brand or create a business. Through these practices, people can exponentially improve or increase their fanbase, customer base, and income just from increasing their social media following. This is modern marketing at its finest.


Growth and Sustainability


To ensure that his company is constantly growing, Kyle makes sure he adapts to the trends. 


“To serve our clients better, we always keep up with the trends of social media, algorithms, and whatever is going on online culturally so that we know we will always be able to relate to our clients and their needs,” he says. They also ask for the clients’ input as they use those adaptations to gain and service new clients in the future. “We want to learn from where we’ve been so that where we are going is better, not only for us, but also for our clients.” he says. 


Kyle’s advice to other business owners is: Make sure you’re serving clients with the utmost professionalism. Kyle attests that serving the clients the best he can is the main reason behind the growth of his company. “Referrals are responsible for about 50% of my business now, so taking care of clients is important because they’re going to tell their friends about you,” he says.  


To the Startups…


Just starting out? Kyle has some advice for that too…

“Master a skill for yourself and a few clients before you try to take on dozens and hundreds of customers.” He further advises any new entrepreneurs to watch and learn the market to see what the competitors are charging so that they can ask for the right value for their services.


“When I first started I charged people $50 per month when I could’ve been charging $500 per month,” he says. “It’s harder to get those higher ticket clients – but would you rather have to service 10 clients for $50 a month or 3 clients for $500 per month?”


He concludes the interview by saying that always continuing to learn and adapt to changes is important in the social media industry, but equally as important in any other industry because the world we live in is constantly moving, changing, and adapting around us. Staying on top of your game will propel you above the average competition.
