From Credit Crunch Disaster to Coaching Master: How Matthew Cornet is Set to Disrupt the Coaching Industry

A limiting belief is a thought, belief, or emotional state that prevents you from acting in a certain way because you believe it to be the absolute truth when it may not necessarily be true. These limiting beliefs can make or break our success, but first, we must become aware of them in order to overcome them.

Learning valuable lessons in business

Matthew had a successful five-year run in his first business, Pipeline Business Generation. The business was focused on lead generation, helping small to medium-sized businesses grow their customer base by generating high-quality leads and appointments. 

Copywriting, content creation, formulating marketing strategies, business development, account management, and client relationship management were among the skills and expertise he offered to his clients while running his business. In  2009, however, it all came crashing down when the credit crunch drove 90% of his clients to abruptly stop doing business with him.

A decade-long coaching career

A new chapter in life saw Matthew working 10 years in London in some of the most deprived boroughs, where he was coaching children who were encountering challenges in their early years of life. This chapter of his life equipped him with the skills and understanding he needed to develop his coaching and mentoring strategy. Working with children, Matthew was able to foster and encourage their self-expression and creativity, and he dedicated himself to inspiring them and promoting positivity in their lives – primarily through music and drama to boost their self-esteem and classroom engagement. 

Infusing his years of experience in coaching, Matthew is well-equipped to help business owners successfully launch their businesses and create long-lasting success in which they are fulfilled and living out their life’s purpose. Matthew has endured many of his own ups and down’s in life, which inspires many others to pursue a career and life path where they can truly thrive.
