Hair Folli is heading towards $5 million in turnover in just over 12 months.
Trung Vien is an entrepreneur and founder of Hair Folli, and he believes that there are three key not-so-secret reasons behind his business’s success.
“I have an opportunity to shed some light on how Hair Folli has grown into the multi-million dollar business it is today – and I want to share that with other entrepreneurial spirited people who deserve the same success,” Vien said.
Hair Folli is a vasodilator; it improves blood flow to your hair without artificial chemicals. It unleashes botanical extracts’ natural power to stimulate regrowth and lends you a helping hand to maintain thicker, healthier hair.
According to Vien, there are three key reasons for Hair Folli’s success:
Transparency is key
“I encourage all businesses to pull down the walls that have traditionally been put up between themselves and their customers,” Vien said.
“Over the last 12 months, we have broken down so many conventional barriers – meaning our customers don’t need to dig to find what our product is made from or how it ends up in the pretty green bottle.
“Our recipe is no secret – but it is exclusive to us. Our serum is infused with superfoods, including Liquorice root extract, Nigella Sativa seed extract, Piper Nigrum Extract, and Panax Ginseng Berry extract, which have all been carefully selected to deliver an optimal dose of nutrition to your hair and scalp.
“The hero ingredient, however, is an extremely rare fruit found only in Australia that most Australians have never even heard of: the Kakadu Plum. This fruit has the highest Vitamin C levels of any fruit on the planet, as well as antiseptic, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties, which is why it earned its reputation as a powerful Indigenous medicine.
“A lot of businesspeople would say we’re crazy for giving away our not-so-secret hero ingredient to our competitors, but we are not worried. We’re confident it works that we offer a 60-day money-back guarantee on every purchase.
“Provenance, disclosure, and integrity are important features of successful health and wellness products in the year 2020.
Consumers should know that the products they are putting into or onto their bodies come from appropriate sources – hence the importance of transparency.”
“Hair growth is among the factors affecting so many Australians silently. The problem is bigger than we think because those who have it don’t like to talk about it,” Vien explained.
“I created Hair Folli because I had a few of my friends experiencing serious hair loss, and they said the same thing: ‘nothing works.’
“Hair Folli was born out of a passion for helping people who are struggling with hair loss, or chronic brittle, dry, or damaged hair.”
According to Vien, every business needs to come from passion. Without passion, he believes he would not have been able to connect so deeply with his customers.
“Hair Folli is made with spirit and love. It is vegan friendly, animal friendly, and completely natural. It is also clinically tested by pharmacists to make sure it works – because that’s the essential thing,” Vien emphasised.
Give back however you can
“Over my career in business, I have experienced the gratification of helping businesses make a lot of money, but with Hair Folli, I was aiming to do something different,” Vien said.
According to Vien, Hair Folli is a business, but not as you know it. The business will be donating 100 percent of its profits toward mental health organizations annually.
“Hair Folli is among the products that I am incredibly proud of. Not only am I happy that the product is helping millions of Australians and others worldwide with their hair regrowth, but with every little bottle, I get to donate all of the sales to an organization that helps people with mental health. It’s honestly an amazing feeling,” Vien said.
“I am not saying that every business needs to donate all of its proceeds to charity in order to be successful; however, I believe that defining a cause for your business to stand behind is the secret to success. Knowing that every sale at Hair Folli is supporting a great cause motivates my employees and me to keep pushing like nothing else.”
Followers of Hair Folli can like its Facebook page or follow Vien on Instagram. Before starting the first business in 2010, Vien had been a financial planner at a major bank. He grew up in a middle-class migrant family. He managed to get an incredible career in business and finance. Hair Folli can be purchased online via Hair Folli’s website.
