High Performance Coach James Lavelle: Your Past Does Not Equal Your Future

James Lavelle

James Lavelle, a 42-year-old dad to a beautiful little lady and a mischievous French Bulldog, hails from Manchester, England, where he spent 15 years serving in the British military. Back then, he was part of an elite physical training corp of 300 leaders that were responsible for the training and fitness of the entire British Army. Since then, he started making a name for himself as a record-breaking salesperson and personally banked multiple 7 figures in commission. James has coached tens of thousands of people to eradicate limiting beliefs, transform their mindsets, and make more money.

How it all began

In the beginning, James had no education, no financial support, and no one really believed in what he was doing. James was still full-time in the military as he created his first multiple 6-figure year with a part-time online business. He would work all day in the military and in the evening, build his business.

After leaving the military in 2014, James created the fastest growing sales teams in the two large global companies he worked for—despite having no experience, James made up for it with energy and enthusiasm. Now a serial entrepreneur, investor, and advisor in a few rapidly growing companies, his true calling is helping men to unlock their true potential and helping them break through and accelerate quickly towards their goals.

Keys to success

For James, courage and execution are two huge factors in success. Entrepreneurship requires you to be courageous to find success. You have to be ready to walk away from the people, places, and things that don’t serve your future. Then you have to decide in your heart what you truly want and advance towards that with as much energy, enthusiasm, and persistence as you have. “There are people way smarter than me, but I learned long ago that intelligence alone doesn’t determine your success, but your ability to focus and execute on something does,” James explains. In a world of devices and distractions, those who can identify what they want and can continually focus on the few activities that move them towards it are the people who will create success.

Passion and future goals

James has always had an obsession with the psychology of human behavior—why do we do what we do and what separates the highest performers from the masses? There are certain traits and commonalities that the highest achievers on the planet possess. Through the coaching and mentoring James offers, he ensures there’s awareness and improvements in all those key areas, so clients not only accelerate their success but they also increase fulfillment and life satisfaction. Looking towards the future, James is

helping a few companies he’s a major investor in grow and scale. On a personal level, after spending the last 12 months learning Brazilian Jui Jitsu, James is looking to win a few more competitions and advance onto my next belt level. His overall mission is to help as many men fear less, achieve more, and create unstoppable momentum in life. James wants to show other men how to become better leaders so their family, friends, and community can benefit.
