How AJ Asmar Is Changing the Beauty Industry

The beauty and haircare industry is one field that has witnessed some significant changes in the last few years. With the growing demand for high-quality products, we have seen many stores open to fit the ever-increasing market. Some gaps have also been identified, for instance, the issue of diversity.

When it comes to representation, there are still some gaps in the industry as not all hair types or skin tones have been fully represented. But unlike a while back, there have been a lot of improvements, which have been made possible by beauty and haircare experts like AJ Asmar.

Asmar is a celebrated entrepreneur in the beauty space who owns various beauty stores. He is the CEO and founder of the top retail beauty supply company, Hair Queen Beauty, which focuses on providing the public with quality haircare products and changing how people shop for them. Hair Queen Beauty makes hair and beauty products available to customers at local beauty supply stores. Asmar has also recently launched his next brand, Meltdown, a lace glue application system for wigs.

According to Asmar, his goal is to make beauty and haircare products more accessible as he changes how people view the industry. Asmar is bringing representation to the US beauty field by developing beauty products that represent different groups as he redefines hair product shopping. This makes it possible for almost anyone to get their hands on a product that perfectly fits their needs.

His unique marketing strategies and approach to the industry have helped him stand out with his retail shops clocking millions of sales yearly. Hair Queen Beauty is currently one of the leading hair product-related retail stores with branches in Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

The company’s mission of connecting people, products, and professionals to inspire confidence is helping Asmar and his team make a difference in the beauty and hair care industry as they supply their customers with top-notch hair products. Asmar explains that through Hair Queen Beauty, he not only wants to give people the right products to nourish their hair but also to inspire young entrepreneurs.

Building a successful venture is not easy as there are so many obstacles. Even so, that does not mean that you should give up. While Asmar is now a celebrated entrepreneur with a leading beauty brand, this has not always been his life.

He was a farm boy with nothing but a dream of a better future. To make this possible, Asmar took a risk, and at 15 years old, he moved to the US. Asmar got a job at a family-owned beauty shop in the US, where he worked until he was 28. His experience, business skills, and solid network built over the years are now helping him make a difference in the beauty industry.

Hair Queen Beauty is dominating the ethnic hair and beauty space, changing the industry one product at a time. The team’s ability to keep up with trends and pop culture and go beyond just selling products gives the retail store an upper hand, with their beauty line selling in 500+ stores. Asmar says he aims to build a more powerful beauty and haircare brand that will be the first to consolidate this multi-billion dollar hair and beauty market while empowering his employees and customers to reach their personal, professional, and financial goals.

Here’s a statement from Asmar regarding his project “We just launched The Retail University Training Technology that’s going to impact millions of retail business owners globally and here’s how.

The Retail University is a Virtual Interactive Training Technology Platform that I developed to helped me scale my business and turn my self from a business operator to a business owner.

After over 20 years of retail experience I’ve realized that a lot of Retailers are leaving a lot of money on the table by not properly training managers and sales team.

I’ve developed a new way train my team that is fitting for the new world we live in.

The Retail University Training Technology  is a virtual and interactive platform that has short videos that is accessible by your phone, laptop or iPad. It’s a program that would also have daily reporting sent via text or email so that business owners can hold their staff accountable. I believe that in-order to have an effective training you need these for Keys.

  1. Good Content
  2. Accountability
  3. Repetition
  4. Practice and Role play

The Retail University can also help the average person start a retail business, online or brick mortar and has a step-by-step strategies that I’ve used to scale my business from zero to 100 million.
