But PR companies do more than just increase the sales, views, and credibility of a person or company. Dana Cruz, a public relations specialist at Ace of Spades Agency, knows how impactful their work can be in the lives and success of others. 

Empowering Others 

Success doesn’t come in fame or fortune. At times, it can be manifested through personal growth or connecting with one’s purpose in life. So aside from giving clients more exposure or sales, Dana, through PR, is geared towards boosting their self-esteem and giving them the leverage to achieve their goals. 

“I love being able to provide others a service that builds their confidence and amplifies them in any way possible,” she said. 

Dana added that she plans to continue growing and showing up for herself and others. To do this, she is determined to always lead with her heart and be prepared to support others on their journey in life. 

“I would love to continue to elevate people through PR and hold them to their highest which will allow people to embody their power,” she said. 

Facing Obstacles In Her Career 

According to Dana, she has a passion to connect with others and experience all the beauty life has to offer. Among these experiences are obstacles in her professional life such as rejection and dealing with particular situations. 

“Just like everything in life, not everyone is going to be enrolled in what you have to give and you have to be so confident and truly believe in yourself. You are going to be rejected and be around people who push your buttons, but it’s all about how you show up and deal with it in a collective manner,” she said. 

Making An Impact On The Youth 

Besides continuing her career in the PR industry, Dana also has other plans where she can give back to people, especially the youth. 

“I would also love to start an organization for less fortunate kids and be able to give back to them by creating events, speaking, and planting that seed in them that they are seen, heard, and loved,” she said. 

Dana explained that the most delicate years are during childhood because that’s where we learn generational limiting beliefs and more. 

Through her experience in working with others and uplifting them, Dana hopes to do the same and empower the youth to push for more no matter the circumstances.
