He mentions how things change fast and they are always ahead of the curve because they are investing in real estate all day, everyday. This gives Sam a tremendous edge, as well as his followers. They are not teaching and riding the coattails of  a book written ten years ago (like a lot of people do), but rather giving techniques that will certainly bring results.
