How Shinjini Das is Using Social Media to Motivate Struggling Young People

Social media is the enemy of motivation, right? The more time we spend scrolling equals less time doing things that matter. At least, that’s what people keep saying. But is this really true? Yes, spending all your time playing video games is not good for you, but what if you were spending a few hours a day playing only those games which improved cognitive functions such as memory and problem solving? So too can social media benefit our motivation.

Of course, hours of mindless scrolling will do nothing to instill within us a sense of purpose or desire to do the things we love. But what if we were picky about the content we consumed, and limited our time using social media?

Shinjini Das is the founder and CEO of Das Media Group, a media company where she advocates for people who strive to achieve their goals and are ambitious enough to make their dreams come true through real-time motivational media content marketing. Her social media platforms reach over 15 million views a month from go-getters around the world every month and she’s passionate about providing motivation through her media content.

Shinjini’s social media following across @SpeakerShinjini comprises over 500,000, many of whom identify as struggling youths in impoverished countries such as in Africa, Latin America, and Asia. Shinjini constantly advocates for her #GoGetters in poverty stricken countries by encouraging her go-getters to move forward despite structural barriers. Young go-getters in Nigeria are finishing Law School with her motivation. Young people in the Philippines are motivated to go get their first job with her motivation.

Publishing over 100 pieces of daily content across @SpeakerShinjini, the Das Media Group is able to reach their target audience: those seeking to build career paths towards financial independence in underprivileged countries. Shinjini uses strategic content and advice to motivate these dreamers to become go-getters and establish action plans to enact in reaching their goals.

Shinjini is also an incredible motivational speaker and author. At only 26, she has published her first memoir, Unapologetically, Shinjini, in the hopes that all the highs and lows she has experienced in life will help others to not only navigate their own experiences, but identify important life lessons that may be learnt from them. Her memoir at 26 and speaking engagements have inspired thousands of struggling young people in Africa, Latin America, and Asia to become go-getters by starting businesses, going and getting their first job, and building positive mindsets.

The Das Media Group also focuses on building content with meaning to not only monetize your message, but create impact with your audience. Catering to B2B, B2C, platform-based, and D2C clients who need content marketing strategy and content execution to market their messages to specific media target audiences with monetization ROI metrics.

Shinjini and her team are changing not only the way businesses market, but how we consume social media by creating content with meaning. To become a #GoGetter, follow @SpeakerShinjini today to start getting your daily dose of motivation.
