Interview With Finance Specialists Gian Saunders and Brett Pipkin

Hi Gian and Brett! How are you?

“We are both doing phenomenal and are truly blessed!”

Where did you grow up?

“So Brett grew up in Texas but lived most of his life mainly in Los Angeles, CA. Gian, however, grew up in a corn “husker” in Lincoln, Nebraska.

What exactly do you do for a career?

“We help the underserved community learn the foreign language of money. Because it is a language. We understand that every single family no matter the net worth deserves a financial education and we are here to deliver. We are money doctors and we have the cure for financial cancer. Harriet Tubman once said, “I would have freed more slaves if only they had known they were slaves.” How many of us are slaves to our finances?”

Can you tell us about your company/job/hustle?

“Yes, So Brett and I own our own financial firm but it’s a part of the amazing World Financial Group and TransAmerica financial advisors.”

What do you want your audience to know?

“We both want our audience to know that you’re not alone. You’re not stupid, or dumb, for not knowing the things that should’ve been taught long ago. And also that there’s never too late of a time to start having a healthy relationship with your money. We preach having a healthy money relationship, most people don’t even have a relationship with her money let alone a healthy one. And what we mean by a healthy relationship with money is, how do you view money? What are your emotions about money? Would you say you come from an abundance mindset or a scarcity mindset and do you know the difference? We do want to make sure that we instill healthy relationships with money and also how to help people create healthy financial habits. Because it all begins in the home.”

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

“By far the most rewarding part of our business is being able to give back to the underserved community and being able to literally build and grow and develop others. Not just financially but we now are training and developing a new wave of leaders. Because we could always go fishing and feed a couple hundred. But our goal is to not go fishing and feed a couple hundred. Our goal is to teach a couple hundred people to fish. So now they can teach their future generations and now we’re creating generational wealth instead of “ignorational debt.” (Debt that we don’t want that we could have avoided)”

Where do you see yourself in the next five years?

“We both see ourselves setting records in our industry, we also both see ourselves dramatically impacting our community in a positive way. We also plan on opening about 15 to 20 new offices because we are building and expanding our business. Brett is going to open up a food truck and he’s going to have individuals run it. He is an amazing cook. Definitely coming out with a couple of clothing lines, A fitness center, a film studio and down the line, we both plan on opening our own private school so that we can implement, educate and grow with these children at a young age.”

Anything else your audience should know?

“That we absolutely love every single one of you. And that is literally from the bottom of our heart we are lovers and we’re not here to just elevate each other but we’re going to elevate this world together. There is only one way from here and that’s up!”
