Jamil Abiad got his start as a Canadian basketball player. Today, he’s a Professional Basketball Trainer, coach, mentor, motivational speaker, and influencer with Under Armour Canada. His list of accomplishments is just as long.

He says it’s his dedicated approach of syncing his mind and body that gave him both the strength and mental stamina to push himself to get better.

With unique training methods, today, he coaches and guides youthful basketball stars in their quest to take their game to the next level. He believes in his players being well-rounded and requires them to not only keep good grades but also to volunteer and give back by doing 20 hours of volunteer work during the basketball season. One aspect of his life, other than the time he spent playing basketball professionally, is that he’s had the opportunity and privilege to work with elite athletes, coaches, and top trainers. The exposure to such varied experience and expertise has served him well. Today, he’s a well-respected coach and has made a name for himself in the Ottawa and Eastern Canadian region.
