Jesse Ray and The Growth House are Creating a Co-living Community for Entrepreneurs

Networking is key for any aspiring millionaire to succeed, and one business leader in the Phoenix area is taking that concept to the next level by launching a co-living community for ambitious entrepreneurs.

The Growth House LLC, based in Phoenix Arizona, provides a stylish, fully furnished and affordable place to live during a time of soaring house prices and skyrocketing rents. The company’s aim is to become a social incubator of future market-defining ideas no matter what the business might be.

“You become who you surround yourself with,” says CEO Jesse Ray, who learned the career and financial benefits of close networking and mentorship after graduating college. He was uncertain about which profession to pursue, until he read Robert Kiyosaki’s landmark wealth building advice book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad,” which prompted him to seek a mentor for work in sales.

Just six years later, Ray was able to retire from his sales career and now that he’s hit his own personal financial independence goals, he wants to pay it forward for future generations. That’s the genesis of The Growth House and its self-described “mastermind” co-living space.

“I have a passion for connecting and helping others see the full potential in themselves,” says Ray. “The Growth House gives entrepreneurs the support, guidance, and accountability to  elevate their lives and business.”

The Growth House is at the start of what’s expected to be a rapidly growing market for co-living properties, following on from the well-publicized international trend of influencer houses where TikTok stars and other creators live and work together. Just as those homes help lead to new content, The Growth House can help with business breakthroughs.

Another factor in development of the company is the ongoing “Great Resignation,” with an increasing percentage of Generation Z and millennial workers quitting their corporate jobs because they’d rather realize their own potential by creating their own businesses and be their own bosses.

“Entrepreneurship is on the rise, people are realizing college doesn’t have the same “ROI” (return on investment) as it did when our parents were in school” says Ray.

The co-living space gives residents flexible lease options at rates that won’t break the bank, helping them instead focus their resources on developing their businesses. The most unique benefit of living in a Growth House, is that every member receives a 90-day coaching program designed to help with learning and honing vital skills from financial literacy (budgeting, goal setting) to life skills like journaling and networking.

Interested business professionals, influencers, creators and others who would like to live in one of The Growth House properties can apply via the company’s website. There’s a questionnaire that asks questions ranging from “what’s your morning routine”, to deeper questions like, “what’s your top three life goals.”

Ray mentions that the application process is strict to ensure the greatest caliber of each new Growth House member. “At the end of the day, we become who we surround ourselves with.”
