Marvin Louis, better known as MarvinJrBeats, is an accomplished music producer with over 15+ years of experience in the music industry. Originally from The San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, CA is now located in Houston, Texas. While he has already accomplished a lot in the music industry as a producer, the career of MarvinJrBeats started with humble beginnings that many artists can relate to! Throughout his time in music production and beat making, Marvin has grown his network tremendously and now works with over 2,000+ artists, brands, and producers to help them build their fan base and brand.
Journey As An Artist
MarvinJrBeats recalls creating his first beat at 13 years old. The real love for creating music and beats didn’t come until high school, where he and his friends would be constantly singing and rapping on the bleachers. “Banging pens and pencils on tables to make beats with my friends turned into going to my house after school practicing writing and recording music real quick “, says MarvinJrBeats.
After growing up and living in California for the first 28 years of his life, MarvinJrBeats picked up and moved his and his family’s lives to Texas. This was a challenge for him as his whole life, the whole team, and the whole movement as a musician started in California. “The move was tough at first and was definitely a challenge, but I knew I just had to push myself harder and that’s exactly what I did”, says Marvin. Pushing himself as hard as possible is how he has seen success in the past, and Marvin swears by outworking everyone else around you to get what you want.
Achievements Along The Way
MarvinJrBeats explains his greatest achievement is being able to actually provide for himself and his family through his sound. Being able to support a family comfortably through music is something very rare for most independent artists, especially ones like Marvin that have a wife and two kids. Marvin shares that he’s found such successful marketing strategies that worked for himself that he even helps other upcoming artists and producers in the same way.
Marvin’s newest challenge that he faces himself is a 52-week beat challenge where he posts one beat every Monday for a full year. He’s doing this as a real test for himself, to test his mental strength, mindset, and his own consistency. To be a musician or producer and challenge yourself in this type of way, it comes as no surprise to anyone that MarvinJrBeats is soaring through the music industry.
