Miriam Deliva Is On A Mission To Help Businesses Grow Exponentially

Miriam has always been passionate about helping people achieve success through hard work and dedication. She is on a mission to help businesses grow exponentially. Her company, Press Run offers PR and media training for entrepreneurs who want their business in the spotlight!

An essential requirement for conducting business is getting your brand in front of targeted consumers and creating lasting connections built on a foundation of trust.

One of the most effective methods for raising brand awareness and recognition is public relations (PR). With the help of PR, personal brands and businesses can drastically increase their authority and credibility in their field.

Press Run, a PR agency founded by Miriam Deliva, has helped clients across Australia, South East Asia, U.S and the U.K gain high-quality media coverage, reaching millions of targeted communities online since 2015.

Deliva is renowned in the PR industry for her high level of expertise and competence. A few years ago, she was the PR expert behind the Donut & Beer Festival held in Australia. Through her PR efforts, their social media platforms saw an increase in views of almost 1,000,000, resulting in more than 6,000 people attending the festival across the two day event.

Now, Deliva teaches students, entrepreneurs, and professionals how to manage and execute their own PR using her tried-and-tested proven PR strategies. She has successfully gone on to teach over 180 individuals her signature PR masterclass, which she teaches in-person and online.

Deliva understands that money and time are often limited when starting your own business. Since many small businesses lack the funding to hire PR agencies, this crucial business aspect can often go neglected.

What many businesses do not know, however, is that you can gain media exposure for your company for free if you educate yourself on the fundamentals of PR.

In order for business owners to read news with a trained eye, strengthen their critical thinking skills, and make more educated decisions in business, Deliva’s ultimate goal is “to teach customers and students how the beast works, thinks, and functions.”

PressRun’s PR masterclass explore the key fundamentals in PR. Topics covered include the benefits of PR, the value of news and media exposure, how to write a press release, how to pitch to the media, how to engage journalists, how to network like a professional, and how to manage your brand reputation.

Deliva’s industry knowledge extends beyond conventional PR and pitching alone. She also ghostwrites for multiple media publications. One of her aspirations in this field of work was to place women and BIPOC in the limelight. Recently, Entrepreneur magazine published Miriam’s written article on this subject.

In early January 2023, Deliva is set to launch Katalista, a storytelling media platform that will showcase stories of the LGBQTI and BIPOC communities. She shares:

“Katalista was born out of the idea that many stories I’ve seen or heard aren’t published by mainstream publications. As a publicist, I see what is accepted and what is overlooked and I grew tired of seeing the same content and faces.”

Deliva goes on to say, “even though I work in media, I too am also at the mercy of Editors, varying news values. And so I thought why not turn the tables and create a space for these extraordinary people to share their stories.”

While self-publicity may seem like an aspect of business many don’t have time for, editorial coverage can be considerably more effective than advertising. PR when done right has the ability to showcase your brand’s legitimacy and increase your authority and influence to your target audience, which can ultimately drive further client traffic and revenue.
