For the last three decades I have been an innovator. I have worked in bleeding edge industries and been a pioneer in many of the projects I have worked on. But recently I feel like all that forward momentum is gone, and I want it back – or at least, gain the opportunity to create it.

I started losing the momentum after my divorce, I tried to get things going again with the #PAY show I hosted in 2019 at Caesars Las Vegas. But it didn’t have the all the qualities I wanted it to have. Then the onslaught of Covid-19 killed any immediate plans I had for the #PAY brand.

#PAY SYMPOSIUM

The pandemic really set me back and today friends I find myself with no prospects and no projects. I recently had a small project and started to regain some of my sense of accomplishment, but it was short lived, and I now without it in my life – I feel emptiness.

The other reality is a little more pressing, I have maxed out my cards and have zero income. I put it all into the business that I was hoping to build, and now I am faced with the holidays. I am writing this not only as a plea to my network, but also to take a self-assessment of my life.

I am laying all my ego and vanity to the side and saying I am not sure what to do at this point in my life. I’m 62 years old, sending out resumes is a waste of time – I’ve tried it for years now. No corporation is considering a candidate my age for any position.

Friends, business associates and network – this is an open letter, and request to the universe.

UNIVERSE

I need work, I need something to do, I need income, I need to find somewhere I can utilize my skill set, create something new and innovative, and build something that is poised for growth.

I am a good generalist, I function well inside smaller, entrepreneurial environments. I like to work directly with decision makers in a smaller startup kind of environment. I have held the position of go to guy for many mavericks who were launching new businesses.

As far as skills go, I am good at copy writing, technical language, and explanation of systems and platforms. I am astute in payment systems, and networks that perform a transfer of values. I have considerable knowledge of computers, software, and web-based services. I have been working with computers since IBM PC DOS 3.3 and I am typing this on a new M1 MacBook Air.

ARTIST

I’m a good artist for storyboarding, planning and understand workflow and process. Most of my career has been around sales and marketing of products and services. I have always brought my own spin to any position that I have taken on. These tangents were adopted by the companies and resulted in hockey stick growth for the organizations.

I told myself I was going to keep this post to one page, so my plea is this. If you have anything marketing oriented your business needs help with, please feel free to reach out to me. I need to hit the ground running in 2022, I have about ten good years left in me and want to put it to good use. Please use the contact box below to reach out to me, I am open to your ideas.

Thank you!
