Women Who Disrupt

Patrycia Kayy’s Journey From a Golfer to an Instagram Sensation Is Extremely Motivational

One name which is popping up on social media for all the right reasons is Patrycia Kayy. Also known as Patikayy, she has created a storm on Instagram as one of the most sought social media personalities. From her hot-toned body to her exceptional skills on the golf course, this 24-year old influencer can make any woman envy of her and any man fall in love with her. The Polish-Canadian golfer turned Instagram sensation has got unmatchable popularity in very less time. The influencer is widely known for her presence in the South Florida model community. Let’s have a look at her journey on how she touched fame at such an early age.

Golden days of childhood

A descendent of first-generation Polish parents, Patrycia lived in Poland from the age 5 to the age of 12. She spent a lot of time raising chickens, milking cows, cutting hay, feeding pigs and horses on her family’s farm. Working at the family farm was a great experience for Patrycia because she was able to see how a farm could sustain a family, and how a family could sustain a farm.

While in Poland, Patrycia was also afforded the opportunity to travel to other countries around Europe including Switzerland, Germany, Italy, France, Spain and Austria, with her favorite destination of all being the French Riviera.

When she wasn’t traveling to Europe, Patrycia would often travel to the Dominican Republic with her parents, a trip the family would make every two to four months since she was 8 years old. While in the Dominican Republic, she developed a love for music and culture. While she was 10, she was able to sing the most popular Spanish songs from Aventura and Daddy Yankee. She learned how to dance the Bachata, Merengue, and Salsa and even taught her own family as well. Although she loves Hispanic music and culture, she never became fluent in Spanish.

The struggling phase

A competitive dancer from the age of 8 to the age of 13, Patrycia experienced her first setback when she was a part of the dance team. She was frequently bullied and was even blamed individually when the team didn’t perform well collectively. When she was 14, she was nationally ranked in tennis before her shoulder got dislocated. The following year, she began playing golf and was offered a scholarship to attend college in Miami at age of 17. After playing one full season of NCAA tennis, Patrycia suffered yet another injury. She suffered a career-ending hand injury which she played on for two days because she didn’t want her team to get disqualified.

Time off from education and welcoming social media fame

After her injury, Patrycia took a year off from school and began growing her presence on social media. She initially got to 100,000 followers by posting sensational photos that appeared on the explore section of Instagram. Her popularity grew, even more, when photos from her golf swinging videos went viral which took the internet by storm.

She is currently in an event management school and is planning to open up her own model club in Miami. She has also been active on the music scene, preparing to release two new singles in Fall 2021 titled ‘Golf Life’ and ‘My Instagram Story’.

Self-motivation to combat naysayers

The influencer said, “I grew up doing competitive dance until I was bullied by the young dancers and their moms. The girls learned this behavior because their moms would bully the other moms as well. I danced from 8 years of age until I was 13. The last competition I left crying because the girls kept telling me that I was the reason why we got last place.”

Scorn and morally scared, this young girl would use her experience in dance as lifelong motivation to strive to be the best. She also learned the value of having a sense of belonging, a characteristic that has helped her excel above-average ranks in the social media world. Moreover, her love for golf, modeling and music has attracted a particular type of audience that has distinguished themselves from the rest of the pack. Her multi-tasking skills are something that needs to be highly appreciated. The former NCAA golf player very often does Instagram live sessions and meet and greet sessions with fans.

Unmatched popularity beyond the sky

The Instagram influencer on several occasions has raised everyone’s eyebrows for her bold pictures on social media. It has given her immense popularity and she has a fanbase of more than 500K followers on Instagram. The influencer very often helps individuals who want to get into the modeling scene, giving them information on how to get started. Patrycia said many women have earlier sent her direct messages applauding her confidence towards work. Her popularity has flourished and has given birth to her own fan clubs on Instagram.

What’s next?

The influencer is currently going to the event management school and she is planning to start her own model society in Miami. She eventually wants to expand in Los Angeles as well. “My goal is to open an exclusive model club in Miami because the current ones aren’t too great. There are so many models in Miami, especially ones that are good looking and rich”, said Kayy.

With such high aspirations of starting her own modeling club, it is clear that Patrycia Kayy will completely take over the modelling scenario in Miami.
