Ready, Aim, Fire: Joe Dwyer’s Shot To Success

As a young boy, Joe Dwyer loved nothing more than being in the great outdoors exploring the wonders of nature in Arizona with his father. He would fish on the lake instead of playing video games, even missing his own senior prom to take part in a bass fishing tournament. He had a passion for adventure and a love for all outdoor sporting activities. These days his life isn’t too much different…he just gets paid to be there, now!
Most days, you can find Joe at his day job as the Head of Sales for a large ammunition distributor. His company, located in Arizona, makes much of its profit selling ammo all across the US to various law enforcement agencies, training departments, and the like. He has been able to watch the company’s growth and has loved being a part of it. His journey to get there was a bit of a journey, though, with ups and downs just like anyone else. However, he never lost sight of what he knew he was capable of. He continued pushing through these challenges and has achieved so much at the young age of 24 that it is truly incredible.
Through his job as well as through his personal life, Joe still gets to travel the country. Outside of his job, he trains all sorts of people on how to use firearms properly and safely. Whether it’s a new shooter ready to learn or old hats wanting to improve, he makes sure that they feel comfortable and excel. He also has a pretty large social media presence where he shows his followers his adventures in the outdoors. One of his favorite trips was when he spent time in Alaska, the last real Great Outdoors. He went on all sorts of excursions set up by individuals who had set up their own businesses, and he showed his followers all of it. He aims to teach his followers how to get back to nature and to follow their dreams, with no “what ifs” allowed.
His favorite part of his life outside of work? His family. Joe treasures his time with his wife and son and loves to experience the outdoors with them, traveling and experiencing nature. He reminds himself daily that while success in life is great, hobbies and spending time with those you love are what truly makes life worth living. Luckily for him, his business intersects with his life passion, so he gets to live and work on his hobbies at the same time! For 2023, Joe plans on expanding his personal brand by becoming an ambassador for the outdoors, promoting his passions, and encouraging others to find joy in nature.
