Real Estate Investor Dan Costantino Shares The Secret To Building An Empire

Real estate investing has been attracting numerous business-minded individuals for years now. Many saw how profitable and beneficial investing in the right real estate property is, and they want to be a part of this lucrative venture themselves. However, an oversaturated market and stiff competition pose a threat to the success of aspiring real estate investors.
Dan Costantino, a real estate investor himself, is no stranger to the challenges of disrupting the industry as a beginner. He admittedly had to leave a six-figure income job without any guarantees to pursue his passion.
As daunting as the road ahead seemed, Dan didn’t let this impede his progress. He eventually hit his stride and began making a name for himself in the industry. He now shares the secret behind his success as a real estate investor.
The Key is Portfolio Growth
While many investors are more interested in safety rather than profitability, Dan prefers to expand his horizons by growing his portfolio. This allows him to grow his capital investments without being limited to one specific type of asset.
Since the goal is to diversify and find other mediums where Dan can invest and profit, he opted to branch out and tackle the different sectors affiliated with the real estate industry. He currently has a property management company, a construction company, a flipping company, and a hard money lending division.
Dan has acquired over 415 units and has been slowly growing his empire everyday. He plans to own over 1,000 rental units by the end of 2025. It may seem like a tall order but Dan shows no signs of being discouraged because of his experience in the industry.
“I have done hundreds of real estate deals. I have 13 employees and will likely have 20 by the end of the first quarter,” he shared.
How He Got Hooked
Before he got into real estate investing, Dan worked as a freight forwarder and engaged in a lot of business from Asia and Mexico. But because of his experience in some of the companies he worked for, he explored other avenues. This eventually led him to the real estate industry.
“In sales, the companies I worked for kept changing our commission structure for the worse. I read some self-development books, went to some seminars and tried flipping. I was hooked!” he shared.
Now on his way to creating his real estate empire, Dan embodies his favorite quote, “No Finish Line,” because he is far from the end and has much more to achieve.
