Renowned Business Coach Daphne Soares, Opens-Up About Her Journey in Becoming a Successful Mompreneur

“A mompreneur is a courageous multi-tasking woman who meets the demands of her business and family with great love, focus, and dedication” – Daphne Soares.

Being a mom is definitely not an easy task. First, the nine months before birth and then taking care of a human being from birth until adulthood involves many sleepless nights and back-breaking days. The immense responsibility that comes with it is both incredible and demanding.

It is every working mom’s dream to be able to have enough time to spend with their family and still maintain a thriving business.

It sounds like a fantasy, right?

We kid you not, this can be possible with the help of the renowned Business and Leadership Coach and a successful mompreneur, Daphne Soares.

Who is Daphne Soares?

Daphne Soares is the founder of Carousel Moms Business and Leadership Coaching, which specializes in helping moms worldwide create a thriving business and achieve success. She is a mother of two beautiful kids. Aside from being a Business and Leadership Coach, Daphne is also an International Speaker and Mentor. She went from being a career woman with a 9 – 5 job to a Homemaker, Coordinator, Masters’ Catechist, RCIA Catechist, Counsellor, Hypnotherapist, and Psychotherapist.

She is a certified Masters Catechist in Catechesis, Youth Ministry, Differently Challenged People, and holds a distinction from Dayton University, Ohio, USA, and UAE.  Furthermore, she is a post-diploma holder in NLP, Family, Adults and Teens Counselling, Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy from Anugraha Institute of Counselling, Psychotherapy and Research and Meta Dynamics, Business and Leadership Coach from Australia and UAE. Lastly, she is also a  member of the ICG.

She has been ranked among the Top 10 Female Coaches in 2021 by Yahoo Finance. Daphne is also the Guinness World Records, International Bestseller A.U.T.H.O.R of the two upcoming books:

Becoming a Mompreneur

Daphne’s whole life changed when she got married. She and her husband moved to U.A.E. (United Arab Emirates); being in a foreign place, Daphne had no one to rely on but her husband and herself. In order to make sure her kids are well taken care of, she quit her senior executive position and fully committed herself to taking care of her family.

Being unemployed in today’s age is a huge challenge; however, for Daphne, she treasured every moment that she had to spend with her kids. Yes, they had only one salary coming in and had to cut edges at times, but it was all worth it.

The turning point of her life came when she came across an online Psychology course. She took up the challenge to stretch herself out and do it. The results helped her better understand herself, her husband, and especially her children during their teenage years.

Since then, she committed herself to acquire knowledge on how people’s brains work and how they affect their behavior and actions—starting herself on a path of self-discovery and mind-blowing life realizations. After getting through that journey, Daphne finally knew that this is what she was most passionate about.

She found that she could support her husband in finances yet not neglect the home and children by starting her own Coaching Business. She also got her children involved in small ways. Her business name, logo and colors, ebooks are the creation of her daughter. At the same time, her son helps in paperwork and other areas of the business.

Daphne shares her success story to help moms overcome limiting beliefs and not see marriage and family as roadblocks but stepping stones to building the new generation and living life to its fullest.

Children spend most of their time with the mom, and she can be the most significant source of inspiration for them while giving her best to the family and living her dreams. Daphne says, “It is necessary as a mom to be happy, plan well and sync to the right rhythm of the music in their own carousels of life.” And don’t forget, “You must get the family involved, particularly the kids and, if possible, your partner. Include the children in decision-making. They often have great ideas and love to be heard. Make all feel that they matter.”
