Robert J. Moore, How To Impact The Lives Of Everyday People To Become A Better Version Of Themselves

Robert J. Moore is a therapist, 5x’s internationally Awarded Bestseller, Speaker, Business Coach, and a publisher with over 100 published books and a recognized publisher with Ingram, working in one of their top programs — Lightning Source. A Guinness World Record holder and nominated for “Walk of Fame”. Won the Honorary Doctorate Degree two times and has impacted the lives of many through the work associated with Magnetic Entrepreneur Inc.

Robert J. Moore, Founder of Magnetic Entrepreneur Inc. was kind enough to sit down with us and chat about his entrepreneurship journey.

So Robert, how did you get started with your entrepreneurship journey?

Robert J. Moore: Well, I learned that telling my story in the right way will allow others to connect. Therefore, in 2005 I became clean and sober (September 7th, I will be16 years) and well educated – today I have a Social Services worker diploma, BA and master’s in psychology, and won Honorary Doctorate degree 2 x’s but I do not put DR. Or any credentials behind my name as I just use it to enhance others! I was a registered psychotherapist for 15 years and a registered addictions counselor for 12 years. 

I was broke when I started, as a matter of fact, I was $150,000 in debt, today I make multiple six figures on social media; bringing my business to $1.8 Million in sales. 

What are some of the challenges you’ve had to face to get to where you are today?

Robert J. Moore: I have also been taught by those who have made it e.g., Jim Rohn’s 18-year business partner Kyle Wilson and world series pitcher Todd Stottlemyre, Les Browns, and his daughter Serena Brown Travis, Reggie Rusk retired NFL player, and many others that you always have to keep learning…Therefore I have been chasing myself 10 years into the future as that’s who I want to be.

Do you have some practical advice for those people who might want to get started in a similar career as you?

Robert J. Moore: Sure! Here are my top 5 pieces of advice.

• Be Consistent and do not give up no matter what. 
• Be Transparent. If you make a mistake, own it. Acknowledge it. We are all human. 
• Know the foundation and structure of your business, this will help guide your focus and drive. 
• Don’t focus on the money, also focus on a solution for others and the money will follow.
• Always remember to keep learning. If you are the smartest person in the room then who can you learn from?

Starting your own business is hard, what would you recommend someone should do when getting started?

Robert J. Moore: Do not be afraid to take a big leap to achieve your goals. It may not always be easy to decide whether building a business for yourself or becoming an affiliate and earn the money you need but you should take that leap and decide what you want to do for the rest of your life.

Currently, what is the big message you’d like to highlight?

Robert J. Moore: Mind map your business thoughts – e.g I used to want to be like Tony Robins do I look at how he did things, who he served, where he hosted his event, and what program he offered to get all those people – keeping in mind that I would see how I would relate to it and make my own strategies to help others-

Always use, call the action questions- hey I might be well educated but I only use a part of it as that’s not what the community wants! Always ask the community what they need to help them.

Always focus on your foundation and structure as it’s like a mission statement and will keep you structured
