Here’s How Sameer Khan Turned His Passion for Entrepreneurship Into a Thriving Business

We’re all fortunate enough to have passions in life, some of us get lucky and can make a career out of one. Meet Sameer Khan, Co-Founder of The Wifi Lions and a passionate entrepreneur. At 19, Sameer managed to build multiple 6 Figure E-commerce businesses and accumulate a strong business acuity. From E-commerce to growing a highly praised marketing business, Here’s how Sameer did it.

Sameer’s Story

By taking the time to build his skills in E-commerce, Sameer was building his foundational understanding of all the moving parts to a business. A key role that played a part in him transitioning from ecom to a marketing agency. During this time, Sameer was studying at one of the best business programs in the country that he soon dropped out of after he felt he was learning nothing. Without having an exact plan in place, Sameer set off on his own and used the skills he learned selling online to help businesses with their digital advertising.

Even with the head start in business, Sameer faced multiple obstacles getting to where he is today. Being a relatively new business one of the first obstacles he faced was not getting the time of day from businesses. So making a name for himself that people trusted, was his first objective with The Wifi Lions. By identifying the issue Sameer was able to come up with creative outreach strategies for his business.

While implementing all the new outreach strategies they were able to pick up their first few customers, Sameer showed perseverance in breaking through the hundreds of rejections for something he believed in. While taking on his first few customers Sameer managed to overdeliver with his services and make customers satisfaction a driving force behind ‘The Wifi Lions’ success today. It goes to show, Sameer is incredibly passionate about business and that same passion reflects into his customer’s results, and by producing results everybody loves he was able to turn his entrepreneurial spirit into a thriving marketing agency.

Sameer’s Lessons for Success

Over the past few years, Sameer has learned more about business and growing as a high-performance individual than he did in business school. Years of success and failure have gone into shaping these practical lessons for anyone starting from the bottom.

Be Rigorous in Self Analysis

You need to understand who you are and what you are good at before you can even think of going out and helping other people

Try Everything

Be ready and open to trying everything, new business models, accept new ideas, challenge perspectives, this is your time to figure it out. Chances are you won’t fall in love with the first thing you try. Understand that there are valuable lessons at this time that you can only learn through trial and error.

Be Ready to Go All In

Once you’ve found your purpose or the career you want out of life, be ready to go all in. Trying to build a business, let alone achieve great things in your chosen field requires all your attention, almost like a child. This will help enforce your ability to see things through and ride the wave until the end.

Solve Big Problems

Sameer’s philosophy on sales is shaped by understanding that to scale and truly build a business that runs without you is to have a product that solves big problems. If the problem isn’t big enough for a business, they don’t need you.

Be Honest with Yourself:

If your business idea is not working, there comes a time where you need to be honest with yourself and say how it is. Avoid any unnecessarily wasted time sitting around thinking ‘what if’, and learn to cut your losses to move forward.
