The Core Principles Artist P8N Uses to Drive His Budding Career

There is no doubt that there has been a huge influx of young artists coming into the music indsutry everyday. Some come into the industry just for the image of money, while others love the craft. Atlanta-born P8N is an 18-year-old American singer and songwriter who found his love for music at a young age and never turned back. Known for his genre-blending sounds between dark R&B and memorable melodies, P8N is making noise across the industry, catching the attention of major labels along the way.

Finding fame at this young of an age isn’t for the faint-of-heart, but P8N has always stayed true to himself and his guiding principles. One of his favorite quotes that has helped him throughout his budding career is, “Love people, use money. Not the other way around”.

This guidance has served him well as his relationships have gotten him farther than the alternative. This mindset is not common for artists his age, others come into this industry solely for the image of money. This view towards your career can be blinding and P8N understands this. Although being money hungry can be helpful in certain situations, it does not lead to longevity.

It is no doubt that with this attitude and paired with his obvious talent, P8N is sure to continue making marks in the industry for years to come. Often considered “the artists’ artist”, P8N enjoys collaborating with other artists and writing and creating music for others as well.

P8N has some advice for those who are following in his footsteps: “Do not give up no matter the circumstances and always keep your head held high. There will always be people that will hate on you no matter what you do”. In other words, he is not stopping anytime soon. Everyone who has made a name for themselves in the music industry knows that it takes a certain type of person with certain character traits to sustain success in music. P8N is that person, and he continues to grow every day.

With his first released single having over a 400,000 views on YouTube and being featured on Billboard Hip Hop as the Independent Spotlight, it is obvious P8N shows no signs of slowing anytime soon. He is working on some big projects and collaborating with some serious names for the rest of 2021. You can hear more from P8N and his latest projects at his Instagram
