2020 has been a year of ups and downs for many – with a major shift in the world and business as we know it. However, there are a few individuals who have used their time productively to build, grow and prosper. These entrepreneurs of color have been making waves in their industries, creating an impact and giving back to those they serve, all while creating their own abundant life. This is an inspirational group of leaders who have set the bar high and continue to raise it. Here we present the entrepreneurs of color disrupting their industries:

Ruby Asabor, Serial Entrepreneur & Youtuber (@lavishruby)

Ruby is a 22-year-old serial entrepreneur, Youtuber, Motivational speaker, and wealth educator.  Ruby created a YouTube platform entitled LavishRuby, where she encourages, empowers, and inspires young men and women to reach their highest potential, with almost 200k+ subscribers. Ruby has nearly 300 videos that provide tips on academic success, financial wellness, developing side hustles and creating your own business. She is currently breaking down barriers in the financial world. With an intense background in the Foreign Exchange (Forex) Industry from multiple educational platforms, Ruby decided to combine all the resources she learned to create her Forex mentorship in an easy to learn format called “Forex Made Easy” under her company Lavish Life Academy in April 2020 with hopes to help other Gen Z and millennials attain another profitable income stream from home amidst the pandemic. Since the launch of Lavish Life Academy, the company has helped thousands of people across the world, reaching all 50 United States and 47 countries in the Middle East, Europe, and Africa by providing them with the requisite skill set that no one can take away from them, ultimately giving them a proven source of income that will sustain them throughout their lifetime.  The academy offers an immense training platform that offers a comprehensive solution to meet the diverse needs of students. Anquanesha started Humblewithlove in 2018, as she knew that she never really wanted to work for anyone, so she went into business herself. Humblewithlove consists of a few dynamics a homemade companion business, as well helping CNA’s prep for their exam, while also teaching med-tech and recently added CPR. She’s been traveling the last two years, which is why she started her travel nurse Nene account on Instagram. She never really paid attention how many people were following her account, which has grown rapidly and made her Travelnursenene brand well recognized. She’s also created a step-by-step guide book to teach CNA’S, LPN’s, and RN’s who’ve never traveled, all the basics they need to know. While also adding a consulting element to her brand to help you secure top travel contracts, she’s also secured a $12,000/week contract as an LPN.
