The Queen of Business Strategy & Manifestation: Alexandria Maria

Alexandria Maria

Many entrepreneurs have ditched the 9-to-5 grind of corporate life to create their own business empire. Alexandria Maria left her corporate job and started a health food brand. However, she found out that running her own business resulted in the same anxiety, stress, and sleepless nights.

After taking the time to fully heal from her perfectionism and mental blocks, she began a soul-led coaching business. Soul Yes helps women reignite the spark within, connect with their true desires, and create a reality even wilder than their vision board.

Her Breakdown & Breakthrough

In 2017, Alexandria had a stable job, a great partner, a beautiful flat, and full social life. Yet inside she was baron, broken, and burning out fast. Her 9-to-5 corporate job left her anxious, stressed, and sleep-deprived. She kept herself propped up by a series of wine and carb binges.

When she took a work trip to New York City, she realized she wasn’t enjoying any of the things she should. The fancy restaurants, shopping sprees, drinks, and salary no longer interested her.

Over the next eighteen months, she had a mental breakdown and decided to pull the cord and leave her corporate job.

She began her own health food brand, CHAM. Her creation ended up on the shelves of Ocado, Selfridges, and Whole Foods. When she was interviewed on BBC World Service, she watched her “pipe dreams” become a reality.

But even in this “success,” Alexandria was buried in the same anxiety, stress, and sleep deprivation she had at her corporate job. She merely traded one stressful situation for another.

She bailed from her health food brand and flew halfway around the world. Alexandria dealt with her perfectionism and confronted her mental blocks. As she began to listen within, a new soul-led business was born inside. She was trained as a coach and stepped into her power by finding soulmate clients and other soul-led coaches.

The Vision & Success of Soul Yes

Through Soul Yes, Alexandria helps women connect with their true desires and create a better reality for themselves. Instead of coaching women to build businesses, she helps them build abundant empires that have a positive impact on the world.

She currently runs two programs: The Soulful Start-Up and a higher-level business mastermind group. She also hosts a series of live events in the UK such as Manifestation Masterclass and Soulful Sales Strategy training.

Alexandria works with women in three ways: through group programs, one-on-one coaching, and with in-person VIP days. She is a 400-hour qualified Yoga instructor and certified holistic health coach. She has a master’s degree in business from The University of Sydney.

Alexandria Maria wants to help thousands of women find the same success she has found. When she started Soul Yes, she focused on transformational life coaching. When women discovered her business background, they asked her to mentor them in business as well. Mindset work and strategic business planning were combined to create the soul-led business training offered by Alexandria today.

Within eighteen months of beginning her coaching career, Alexandria had her first 6-figure monthly income. She isn’t the only one thriving, though. Her clients are leaving their corporate jobs and out-earning their corporate salaries in fulfilling businesses of their own. Most importantly, they’re finding fulfillment in their work lives.

Redefining “Success”

Starting her business required Alexandria to embark on a deep healing journey. Unresolved issues come to the surface under the pressure of building a business, forcing her to take personal healing to new depths. She personally loves exploring the new layers of healing needed to push to new levels of success.

Through this process, Alexandria has redefined failure and success. She views failure as an opportunity to learn and grow. When she stopped fearing failure, she was able to take bold steps in her business.

In developing her soul-led business, Alexandria has created a more nuanced definition of success. Rather than relying purely on external sign-posts of success (like salary), she is more focused on the impact her work has on the world around her.

As part of her redefined success, Alexandria is an advocate of female entrepreneurship and mental health. She spoke at London City Hall as part of the Inspiring Talk series. She has also received awards for global marketing and strategy.

Alexandria’s Future Plans

After living in London for years, Alexandria enjoys exploring the world with her husband Jake and her dogs, Coco and Bagel. She is continuing to build and expand her coaching business and hopes to help thousands of women radically transform their lives.

Alexandria is currently in the process of planning her first book and releasing her brand’s first product. These are just a few of the ways she’s expanding her business. In the future, she hopes to explore the creation of more support systems for female founders.

No matter what she does next, Alexandria will continue her mission as an advocate for mental health and female leadership.
