My name is Dustie Samson. I have had over 10 years experience in the fitness and nutrition industry. I have personally been in multiple fitness competitions and have been titled miss Colorado.
Many people go year after year, diet after diet, program after program with no results. After working with clients for almost 10 years now, I have came to the conclusion that the real reason people do not have results is because they are not held accountable for their actions. And this article I’m gonna give you three ways that you can boost your productivity in the gym and you can actually achieve those results you want.
First, when many people go to the gym they just show up. Most people are worried about what other people think of them in the gym. Most people are afraid to actually get a good pump in because they are afraid of judgment from others or failure. In my humble opinion, I truly believe that the only way to combat these fears is by training with an intention. You have to go into the gym with a clear objective of where you’re going. It’s like driving a car, When you get into the car you have to have your eyes on the road otherwise you’re going to crash. So why when so many people go to the gym do they just meander around and not actually go after the plan laid out for them
Next, another reason I have seen many people not achieved the bodies they want to have is because they are not right in the kitchen. You can do all the hard work at the gym you want but if you are not eating correctly and following specific guidelines of calorie intake, protein intake, and fat intake, you’ll just be running around in loops seemingly working hard at the gym but just not achieving those results you want. Remember guys everything starts in the kitchen and ends in the gym.
Last, Many people don’t believe that they actually deserve the body of their dreams. Through societies pressures and the medias distorted perspective on body weight, many people don’t actually go after their dream body because they don’t think it’s achievable. People make excuses like “I am big boned it doesn’t work for me” or “It just runs in the family” but it’s all just a mindset. I want to emphasize that at one point in my life I was very skinny and I strived to be a bodybuilder. The way I was actually able to achieve it was by believing in it and visualizing every single day when I was in the gym where I was going.
To conclude my three main reasons why people do not succeed in the gym is first because people do not have the right intention when they go to the gym. Next, people do not follow proper routine’s when it comes to eating. In the final reason is people simply don’t believe that it’s possible for them.
