Winner of Miss Philippines USA 2018 – Jet Hammond Is Ready For Hollywood

Born and raised in the Philippines in an unfavorable condition, the young Jet Hammond could never begin to imagine what she has been able to achieve up till now.

Jet Hammond moved to the United States when she was only 17 and had been pursuing her dreams of becoming an actress.

Who would have known that three years later, at the age of 20, Hammond won the title of Miss Philippines USA 2018. Moreover, wearing the crown doesn’t make her forget her upbringing.

Just a couple of months after she won the title, she returned to San Pedro, Philippines, her hometown, to give back to the community that raised her. In an event called “A Day To Care: Educational Advocacy For Day Care Students,” Jet and two winners of Miss Young Philippines USA help provide the local daycare with educational supplies and food.

“Wherever you go, always keep your feet on the ground. Always look back from where you came from and be a helping hand. This unforgettable experience will always stay in my heart,” She said.

Winning a pageant was a marvelous experience, but Jet didn’t just end her journey there. She then entered the healthcare industry by establishing her own company, Jet Transport and Pacific Sun Hospice.

Today, at the age of 24, Jet Hammond is busy being an actress, singer, and entrepreneur who lives in Los Angeles.

Even though she has achieved much by her young age, being involved in the Hollywood Entertainment Industry as a singer and actress is still her dream.

She wants to explore her creativity as an artist. At the same time, Jet hopes to represent her diverse background (being an Asian, Latina, and American) on the Hollywood and global level.

“I feel like there’s a need for people like us, people of color, people who come from diverse backgrounds to be represented not only in a stereotypical way but in a more realistic way so we can truly make an impact on the world,” Jet noted.

The young artist hopes to inspire the youth to go after their dreams and live a life full of passion and purpose.

It’s not yet confirmed, but Jet is rumored to have her debuts with some high-profile talents sooner or later.

If you don’t want to miss her further updates and big debuts, stay tuned and follow her Instagram, where she’s routinely sharing about positivity and lives.
