Aurimas Juodka Is Helping Entrepreneurs Achieve Peak Performance In Business
Aurimas Juodka, standing at just over 2 meters tall is a figure of fitness. What most don’t know is that as a teenager he battled health issues including borderline insomnia, a destroyed gut microbiome, low energy, and digestion problems.
Through self-experimentation and committed optimization he miraculously transformed his health and today he is a world-recognized health and human performance expert.
He works with executives, CEOs, and entrepreneurs on dialing in their biology and maximizing their output through the Minimal Effective Dose approach.
Aurimas focuses on biological optimization and squeezing every bit of productivity while overriding the complex human nature. He explains the tenets he lives by and utilizes to create high performing entrepreneurs.
How To Deal With Entrepreneurial Stress
Aurimas believes that most stress is unnecessary. As entrepreneurs, we can get stuck in our own head thinking about inconsequential tasks and issues that don’t affect our current situation. He believes that if we put it on paper we are more opt for success and optimized lifestyles.
“Usually, we’re either ruminating over our past or getting anxious about our future. If you speak and write all of the anxieties out, you realize that the worst-case scenario is really not that bad”
Normalization Of Illness Is Dangerous
Aurimas believes that although today’s social media culture has brought healthy practices to the forefront of the fitness and wellness industry, there are a lot of things that don’t align with health. He shares what inspired him to start his practice.
“Seeing people struggle. Humans are great at normalizing things that aren’t normal, headaches, constant sickness, extra weight creeping up. None of those things are normal, but we are so great at rationalizing why they are”
You Can Get Better
Sometimes as entrepreneurs, we don’t seek out solutions to our long-standing problems. Aurimas shares some of the challenges he went through as a child. He says that instead of caving into the myriad of health challenges that others would have let rule their lives, he took a different approach.
“I was constantly sick when I was a child/teenager. I was constantly on antibiotics, feeling sub-par. That carried over to my adulthood and professional life.”
“Upon joining the military I realized I needed to figure out how to turn my body into a more optimal human-machine. I devoured the scientific literature, enrolled in multiple courses, and experimented with everything I could get my hands on.”
“When I realized the leap that I’ve made and how significant the difference was, I wanted to pass it on to others so they know how good they can feel too! No more headaches, sicknesses, antibiotics, or other nonsense.”
He encourages others to think positively but also to do their own research in order to find the root of what is making them sick.
Mindset Is Crucial
As important as it is to focus on the physical body when it comes to human performance, Aurimas believes that the mind is crucial. He holds specific practices that allow him to optimize his workdays and quality of life.
“Everything starts in one’s head. I personally read my Morning Formula on a daily basis where I empower myself to go after my goals and anchor my mind to something that is beyond myself and the reasons why I’m doing what I’m doing”
How To Define Success
While other entrepreneurs may look to material possessions of wealth, cars, jets, jewelry, Aurimas is focusing on building his interior mind and attitude and encourages his high ticket clients, no matter how successful, to do the same.
“You can make as much money as you’d like and flash your “success” but if you’re feeling empty on the inside, not forming meaningful relationships and only relying on external validation, that is not a success.”
How His Practice Differentiates From Other “Fitness and Wellness Coaches”
In his early days, Aurimas shared with me about his successful gym business and how he soon realized that it did not address the comprehensive needs of clients, especially the multidimensional needs of his entrepreneurial friends.
He decided to do the work in learning the physiology of what makes humans tick and this served as his differentiator as a sought-after human performance professional.
“I take a multi-dimensional approach to a human’s body and rather than treating a symptom, I address the underlying root cause and take proactive measures to address one’s health and optimal performance.
“If you go to a nutritionist, they’re going to help you with nutrition. If you go to an encyclopedia salesman he’s going to convince you that you need an encyclopedia. I truly pay attention to what one needs and how to address it in the most efficient manner. The minimal effective dose is the name of my game.”
Aurimas’ life and lessons have been featured in GQ, The Wall Street Journal, Yahoo Lifestyle, and other media outlets.
He can likely be found at his treadmill work station testing his latest biohacking gadgets that increase productivity and help him and his clients perform at their peak.
