Failure to do so means risking potential mental illness, as the changes brought about by COVID-19 are a source of anxiety, depression, and stress. Yet, research has proven that physical training is a great way to overcome mental illness. So, where do you start? How do you become your best self this 2020?
Tony Gnap is a professional personal trainer, online coach, and gymnastics coach. As a fitness professional, she lives a well-rounded life based on a healthy balanced lifestyle and regular fitness. Tony has extensive experience in helping people unleash their true personal potential. She believes that anything is possible if you want it bad enough. Even while in lockdown, and things are not going as we want them to, Tony believes that we can still work to build up positive energy and the right mindset for a comeback by focusing on becoming our best self this 2020.

Tony Gnap is a born and raised Canadian. Athletic and driven parents raised her in a small town known as Tottenham. Growing up, Tony knew what she always wanted to do in life. She wanted to change lives and help others reach their goals and realize their own potential. She competed in gymnastics at an elite level in Canada. After graduating from the University of Guelph, where she majored in Human Kinetics, she dove right into the Fitness Industry as a Certified Personal Trainer.
Tony created her Fitness Business Training by Tony, where she specializes in training a wide range of athletes and people of all ages and fitness levels worldwide. She has a background in functional fitness, bodybuilding, sports specific training, and gymnastics. This versatile entrepreneur has built up an impressive reputation as the IFBB Top Fitness Pro in Australia. In 2016, she competed at the Gold Coast’s Pro qualifier, where she came in first place. In the same year, she won her pro card at the 2016 Arnold Classic Australia in the IFBB fitness division.
Tony has beaten the odds to become the best version of herself. 2018 was the hardest experience of her life as her husband was diagnosed with cancer. They spent the next year battling it together, and after intensive chemotherapy and many surgeries, cancer went into remission. The couple is now permanently living in Brisbane, Australia.

Tony built her business model around mental, physical & spiritual health. She understands that health and fitness come in many forms and that you can only become your best when you can allow yourself to commit, adapt and overcome. She is all about becoming the best version of yourself!
Becoming your best self is the most crucial decision that you can make. However, you cannot become your best self overnight. It requires you to make slow and steady steps that will eventually lead to your success. Fitness is a journey and you need to enjoy the process if you want sustainable results. Tony notes that it is also essential for you to know why you want to be healthier. Figuring out your “WHY” will act as your motivator whenever you get discouraged.
Tony has worked with 1000+ clients worldwide. She has worked with athletes, bodybuilders, professionals, men and women, pregnant women, teens, kids, amateurs, clients with disabilities, clients with chronic injuries plus many more. Tony has had to overcome many obstacles along the way. The challenges she has gone through in life has taught her the value of developing a resilient mindset and a can-do attitude. Tony has had to overcome fear and adversity to become a stronger version of herself. And now, she shares her strategies for successful living with her clients.
Tony is a professional who’s always on the move. She is planning to compete again in the coming year for the Arnolds Classic, among others. She promises to come back even better and stronger than before.
Tony is also focussing on growing her business by building a more significant online coaching presence. She is also working towards her Australian citizenship, as she loves the idea of waking up on the beach every day, as this has become her sanctuary.
