Social Media Growth-Hacker, Farzad Vafa, Shares 3 Easy Organic Lead Gen Methods

Even the most disconnected brick-and-mortars are moving towards online and e-commerce business structures. Farzad Vafa, the owner of CAVIAR Social, a social media growth hacking company, states: “Everything is online, heck; even our currency is becoming digital as seen with cryptocurrencies. Millionaires are getting younger and younger, thanks to social media and influencer marketing.” He is correct, influencer marketing is a billion dollar industry that is only getting bigger year by year, and COVID-19 has forced many businesses to move online to survive. Farzad explains: “Many of us have extra time now, working from home and not having to commute. This time can be used to organically grow your brand, presence and audience.”

Farzad’s 1st Method: Instagram Targeted Engagement

Instagram is the biggest social media by usage. This platform is vital for influencers but also businesses. “150 million people message brands and businesses directly on Instagram, per month,” Farzad says. “The easiest way to get started is to find your target audience, whether using hashtags, locations or your competitor’s followers. Then you should engage with these users, the bigger your influence (followers) and branding (post quality) the higher chance you have to convert them back into a follower and eventually sales.” This method has been used since the inception of Instagram. It uses simple human psychology – you follow me, I will follow you back, mutually benefiting both parties. “This method is great for growing organically, but make sure you are not spamming, or ruining your follower ratio.”

Farzad’s 2nd Method: LinkedIn Outreach

LinkedIn is the number one source of leads for businesses directly selling to other businesses. “Even influencers can benefit from LinkedIn growth-hacking, as they can directly contact marketing executives and businesses in their industry!” Farzad boldly states. “LinkedIn is great for presenting the person behind the brand. People want to trust you before they try something, especially in an online environment. LinkedIn growth lets you be well connected. Social proof is everything, connections on LinkedIn, followers on Instagram.” Farzad suggests you connect with people in your industry first, then go after your target audience and build rapport. Eventually you can get them to sign-up for a free trial, newsletter or e-book on your landing page. From there on, email marketing can be used to sell to these targeted leads.
