Diversity is the second pillar of an efficient team because it enhances creativity. When multiple points of view collaborate and collide, new ideas are created. Thus, diversity of thought is a necessary component of innovation. However, diversity alone doesn’t do the job; inclusion has a primary role in team building and employee satisfaction.

Building a diverse team is mandatory but making sure that everybody knows their worth is the “real deal.” Employees who feel included in their group will double their effort and output because the team starts to feel like family. That’s why inclusion, the third and final pillar, is the ultimate key to a successful team. When no one feels rejected because of their religion, sexuality, gender, or race — you can expect exponential growth.
